Full Moon Wo Sagashite Piece

Hey all. I need some feedback for this rough piece I did. I haven't shaded in anything other than the wings/feathers thus far. I was thinking of submitting this piece for the [Cold] contest that's up and coming. Suggestions anyone ~ ala Inverted etc.?

This would be my first piece in the fanart forums and my second in the contest if I do take part in it. So please be gentle

Oh yeah, that's Takuto on the right and Eichi on the left of Mitsuki. I tried to have Takuto on the side with the black wings/feathers and Eichi on the left with the inverted moon.

P.S. I suck with colors in general - So i usually do all my work in b/w...

Its not to bad but there are some errors
you did well on the boy on the left

But on the boy on the richt you draw't some hair on the back of his head it would look much better if you keep that part away. and show his mouth.

on the angel, her fingers are not that good and there is something about her face. i think her nose is to long. And There is something on her back under her wings i can't see what it is. Or is it the Jacket of the boy on the right.

if you change that it would look much better

but its not bad keep it up and post some more of your work.

Aight, thanks fer your compliments/suggestions. I read and re-read the manga again (Only 7 Volumes chock full of beautiful art) and then headed back to the drawing board. The first try was without looking at any characters <Told ya it was rough ~ Just to get idea on where everything would be> - but was based on the anime version ~ thus the hair was kinda chunky/blocky. I did a major overhaul on the pic and think it turned out a WHOLE lot better. Had a guide to work with but did not copy . This is still not the final version though [Darn Eichi's Clothes]. Put the cat hat on Takuto cuz he looked strange w/o it...made Eichi skinnier and worked on his hair fer a while...gave Mitsuki a nose [lol], Puffed up wings, researched feathers on Google Image Search, and re-defined her hand (God it took me forever Had to look in the mirror like a darn sissy tryin to get that hand right) etc.

eh not bad but her face is kind of off. There are some mistakes but its not to bad overall
