100% absolutely free game. most people have compared it to counter-strike, and i guess its basically true. AA is much slower in pace and much more "realistic". frag nades, ricociet(sp?), gun jams (yes, your guns can jam -_-) and the Standing, Crouched, Prone positions standard to modern army fps, all in an awesome graphics engine. May not b as pretty as UT2k4, but hella better than some of the older ones. i havnt played since 1.7 (current vs is like 2.2 or sumthin) so im not aware of drivable vehicles.

I downloaded and played it... very impressive for a free game.

There are little quirks here and there.. but overall solid game.. I'll post a review of it sometime soon.

although it might be a little old... I played the game and liked it, and since I'm going to be deleting it around and reinstalling etc etc... (new harddrive I ahven't installed and now there're spiders in it XD) I ordered the cd. mm

I find it wierd that the government is wasting money on video games but its not like millions of americans are suffering because of lack of health care so i guess were all right. Game itself isnt bad. Crazy realistic. Gets anoying with the perma-dead thing tho.

This isn't a waste of government money. The government is trying to use this as a tool to entice people to enlist.

I think more people would play it just as a higher-level of CS. like, with real strategy, instead of running around shooting chickens or jumping wildly around randomly shooting and yelling.

although that's what I did when I first played AA Very Happy

I've lost what little skill I earned. I'd at least be able to get one kill each game previously, but now...

my K/D ratio is 0:14 :p

14 games played...

goddamn grenades. like 10 of my deaths were because of them, the other four were head on firefights (where I got totally wasted with my teammates)

it's sorta funny though. I was crouching behind a shed, and then I turn to my left and look up.. and I see a grenade. Two seconds later I'm dead.

then.. when I'm down in a tunnel, the person that was my leader-person gave the all clear to move ahead, so I went up to the end and was gonna poke my head around the corner when suddenly I see a grenade roll out in front of me.

I managed to back away halfway through the hallway before it killed me -_-;

I was one away from becoming adv. marksmanship again. I swear, I give up :p

I'm getting better now.

Start of improvement:
So me and one of my teammates are the only ones alive now in bridge. There're three enemies. My teammate's a sniper, and I'm a ranger. turns out the enemy's two riflemen people and a sniper. I go up the right ledge thingie, where I spot someone on the top of the arch... he keeps flashbanging me so I shoot up over and over, and actually kill him. my sniper friend finally kills off the enemy sniper so I climb up the ladder and see the enemy lying on the ground, so I shoot and shoot and he DIES! woop.

and then I tk'd two people with a grenade the next round...

then the next I took someone's 203 (they were killed) and managed to take three kills before a sniper took me out. WOO!

I think I lost my appetite for PT now. even though SOD and clan systems came out yesterday.

dun remember how far i got, but i know the one thing i culd nvr pass was the parachute course >_< couldnt figure out how to freeking land correctly

yeah i wanted to get the sniper wep. so i changed something in my log that made it seem like i had scored perfect on the basic shooting.(u need perfect to open the sniping courses) So normally if you do this, as soon as you log on to save to your online profile he server changes it back, But what i did is i played the sniping courses and when i finished it changed it back but it also said i cleared the sniping so i beat the system
