HERE is the torrent for the chapter that i mentioned
ah, just a quick edit - on a re-read of the chapter i realised that everything i was mentioning and thinking about is in this chapter, so no wonder it wasn't making sense to anyone else (sorry if i spoiled it ) _________________

Hm... basically a well drawn, confusing rival schoolish manga. I think it's drawing people in because of its fantastic art and somewhat interesting (and well endowed) characters. Being that it is drawn by Oh Great!, a former hentai artist, it's not surprising that it contains so much... excessive not for kids scenes.
I like it because there's a lot of potential for the series to crash and burn, yet still be very entertaining to read. It's already starting to fall into the "here comes a new bad guy that you know will get his ass beat by the main characters" category, but the way it's presented still keeps the reader's interest.
I felt that the comedy in the manga is a lot better than the anime, because Oh Great! can go much farther with his sexual humor than they can in the anime. For jokes that were meant to be perverted in nature, the original form of it will always be better.
And I think Maya wants to stop Mitsuomi because she knows how out of control he is, and how he'll stifle the "fighting world" if he gets out of high school and into the real world. Kind of stupid, because if I were him, I'd just drop out of school. But also, she doesn't know of his "3 minute" limit, and it's kind of implied that he'll die at the end of this year. Beh... I feel stupid talking about a stupid plot like this. And from the looks of the beginning, this is all Masataka's flashback, so everything has already happened. |

Well I bought Vol 11 since the Hong Kong licensed publication was just brought in. Things look bad for our intrepid band, especially Souichiro.
Not sure if the English scanlates have reached here but
Vol 11
His mother absorbed his feedback and lost her right arm as well. So she's now armless. Then his father came and abducted him away from her. Souichiro is now out of the story for the moment *hooray*
Regarding Souichiro's Dragon, as I stated before his Dragon can open all Dragon Gates. However Souichiro's style of opening his 7 other Dragon Gates is to "eat" the other Dragons before he can open them.
Chapter 74 just recently came out and the chp 71-74 arc really shone for me because Masataka is the focus.
Masataka's
He suffered the 3 minute limit similar to his brother as well after defeating a returning villian. But unlike Mitsuogi, he overcame it and delivered a final smackdown. In fact, now he seems to be the most powerful character among the whole lot with Souichiro's father even questioning if Masataka is the one who has the Real Might. *Hooray*

Umm... he said Hong Kong... and also, the volume number is at 11, so that means that the chapter number must be beyond that, since it usually takes 3 months for them to compile the volume and edit it for a release.
And yeah, that's his dad... it hasn't really explained why he's back, and why he's with "F." But as of the last chapter scanned... it's clear that Mitsuomi isn't the boss of "F," and apparently is a forced member. It's also starting to become clear that the person Masataka talked about in the beginning of the series (the person said to be the strongest member of the Jyuukenbu) is actually Bob, and not Nagi.
Who gave Masataka the limit? Shin gave it to Mitsuomi... and it's said that there's no one with an unlimited amount of spirit like him anymore (except Nagi). |

Actually Vol 11 consists of chapters 64-69. Let's just say that there are bonuses to knowing languages other than English (Japanese excluded).

I'm suspecting that Bob would become physically the strongest of the lot, i.e. his skills would be zero in ki but highest in terms of agility & brute power. Mitsuomi probably looks at him as the last piece of his puzzle. Whether Masataka is speaking of Bob or Nagi is still debateable to me, but I think it is good that no character here is useless until proven otherwise (but one wonders how good will that playboy fella "Asshat" to the English scanlates, be).

It's not really given. I should have put "similar to the 3 minute limit". Basically...
Masataka as you know blasted Zombie Fu before Bunshi took over the job. But he practically exhausted himself in just that short time. When the ardrenaline starts to fade, he was shivering and weak. A panel with the dark snakes appear. He questioned whether this was probably what Mitsuomi had to fight against all along.

| Well, the English scans have caught up with (I think) the latest Ultra Jump chapter... And yup, the recent developments are pretty good indeed. Its funny how things always seem to be more interesting with Souichiro (and Bob too it seems) out of the picture... |
