Yeah, he's definitely not your average character. He's all soft and squishy and loveable, but it turns out that he's got a pretty hard center beneath it all made of who knows what. That makes him more unknown and unpredictable.
I like the way they show the splits in Heihachi's personality whenever he gets angry.
And I also have a special place in my heart for any characters that're easy to underestimate but are really a can of wup-ass whenever provoked. Got nothing to prove, only do what they do. Hoowah. |

And then it was licensed. Have you guy ever wondered if the people from the companies take into account the subb communities when the licensing a certain series. Do you think they watch to see if it successful or worth licensing. Maybe I am looking too much into this they probably have other means of deciding what to license. Oh well good while it lasted and there is always Inuyasha-forever they say they won’t stop. _________________ Need help adding an image to your signature? Click here then. |

They might and they might not. A point for the 'they might' view is that ADV has one of their staff lurking around in the Animesuki forums. He might even be here as well. Come on, surely their workers explore the net and would come across us or other web-sites.
However the question is whether they are visiting in official capacity (that is tasked to do so) or for personal purposes (recreation). The final decision to purchase licenses always lie with the manager or higher in charge.
Some series are screaming out to license just from the name itself. "Hey, look, it's an anime based on Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai!" "Cool, samurais and robots, let's buy it!" I doubt S7 was licensed simply because fansubbers picked it up.
On the anime itself, episode 13 and 14 show some changes from the original movie but they were fun to watch . To paraphrase a episode 13 scene....
Kikuchiyou: You don't want to be a cyborg.
Rikichi: Why not?!
Kikuchiyou: Well... if you get back your wife, you won't be able to **** her.
Yes, not the exact translation, but the context and meaning was memorable
Edit: OMG! Episode 14 is the bomb!!! Full of action and laughter!
Another paraphrasing...
(On the cliffside, Kikuchiyou is holding up a pathetic looking Shichirouji by the back collar)
Shichirouji: I'm getting too old for this shit.
Kikuchiyou: Oh, so I should drop you here right now?
Shichiyouji: Ah!!! No!!!
There are a lot more |

ahh i'm sad. this was becoming my favorite series this season (along with champloo) and maybe no one will finish subbing it. i know this is the way of the world, but it was nice seeing 2 episodes every 2 weeks. |

I don't see why IY4Ever won't keep up with it, licensing didn't stop them with InuYasha...I certainly hope they do, anyway! _________________ [img:450:56:3ff33a5be6]http://www.fiveofanatic.com/pics/cccp09a.jpg[/img:3ff33a5be6]

Ah, so the series was licensed. That might explain why I haven't noticed any new torrents.
Damn, and I was really getting into S7, too. |

Yeah, I saw that just today. Also found 14 floating around, so I'm happy, for now. |

One disappointing thing about episodes 17 & 18 ( raws ) is that the animators who did episode 7 are back here as well... Thankfully, their portions are not as long as previously nor their 'style' are as glaring here.
Other than that, these episodes seem to signify a break away from Kurosawa's movie and starting on Gonzo's own tale of how the story ends ( actually their improvised continuation from their adaptation of Kurosawa's ending ).
Still interesting by far. |

| I just watched the latest. I will remain a diehard fan of the series, but one thing I can't stand is when they do a ten minute slow-motion action scene. I know that it is done sometimes to add a dramtic element but man, was it long. |

On Monday, I saw the movie 7 Samurai at the local Sam Goodie and I had to buy it since I am a big fan of Samurai 7, after watching it, I think that with all the updates and trying to make 26 it epsiodes, they (in my opinion) lost some of the real story _________________ "This World is made of Love and Peace!"

| Show's coming along, but slowly. Having watched only up to ep 16 and having 10 more eps to go, it makes me wonder how they've got this whole thing planned out. |

Ep 17 is a recap? Your basic recap, or do they have the characters "remembering" everything that's gone on 'til now?
I think I'll just skip this one, unless there's something different about it. |
