So far I tried AIM, MSN, and ICQ. Here the results.
MSN and AIM allow to use the picture as display picture, but AIM have limit size.
ICQ has strong alert sounds. (Geez!)
MSN is a bit easy to know *@hotmail.com/msn.com also allow to use yahoo.com.
AIM just don't need *@
ICQ use the number, hard to remember.
That's it. |

I use MSN.. it far more better than AIM or yahoo in my opinion.
I used AIM for one day to try it out...and..it sucked aZ cuz soo many GrLz msging me about thingies that makes guys go WOOT woot... I didn't hate thier pick up lines and the 'flashy flashy on the cam' but was not to fond of it...also i couldn't find any block button too..probally cuz i was too buzy being amazed by the grl userz talents in art of cybering.....*now i know where to go when i become old and desperate *
Yahoo.. i just don't like it cuz it looks weird.....it doesn't have the Zing
like msn....no incident in yahoo ....
MSN soo much better u can block people and it has super kewl fonts and nice emoticons and better view in cam video 's..and it only 6 mb smaller than yahoo......
Anyone uses p2p programs like ares as their messenger?? _________________ -If you can take all the nose-bleeds than come to the Ecchi Battle'Z |

GMJuggernaut. I'm sure you didn't mean it, but check to see if you have doubleposted.
Well, used to be an ICQ, but then there was some kind of revolution in the year 2001 (something like that). Everyone just started using msn all of a sudden. Nope, it wasn't a slow transition, it must have been new then? Who knows.
As for a choice between ICQ and MSN, I'd rather use ICQ. I like the option of the message box minimizing on its own. I like the invisibility status, I can message anyone and the others won't know I'm 'online'. I don't like the fact that I "blocked" someone, it has a negative connocatioon. Stupid MSN only has the "appear offline" status, all you can do is sit there and see who's online. Also, I like sending multiple files (or folders) at once, unlike the craptacular MSN. There's also the limitation in the choice of colours. All you have is this crappy white background, what if I wanted yellow? With ICQ, I can choose a black background and stick with the yellow font =). ICQ also has lotsa options. I prefer the "uh oh" over the "bdoink" or whatever otomatopoeia.
The only reason I do go on msn is for group projects for school, someone asks me to go on, transfering files, homework essentially.
Still, I prefer AIM over MSN and ICQ, Although you can't send multiple files at once, I really like the layout of it. How you can make your one word in your sentence bigger, italicized, bolded, or underlined. This way, you can emphasize and express yourself more, instead of being limited to using CAPS.
Yes, I strongly think MSN sucks. |

| Gaim. It's open source and can communicate with all other IM services eliminating the need to download multiple messneger programs. |

| I'm a fan of Trillian, it allows me to speak to people on different messenger services all at the same time. |
