FFX in 15 hours? isn't that normal for rpg gamers? I'd played FFX for 2 days, that included bathing, eating and resting a bits.

Nothing is as addicting as puzzle games.
Tetris rules the puzzles hands down. My childhood and Game boy were both devoted to that little game and it's addicting theme anytime I was on a trip. I have Tetris on my cell as well for those boring times during school. You can't get more addicting than Tetris.
Except for maybe Tetris Attack, but that requires another person.
Dance Dance Revolution was also quite addicting for me. That might be due to the fact that at my old job, I could practice there for free and got really good at it. |

halo 2 - its just fun mindlessley killing people and aliens. the best part is destroying your friends in multiplayer.
Evil Genius-come on who doesnt want to rule the world, steal things, have minions do your bidding, make huge amounts of money, and design your own evil lair.
Animal Crossings- i dunno why i was addicted to this one |

I would say the most addictive are MMORPGs. In action games and the like, it can become repetitive but live online rpg games have a lot of material and incentive to work off of. I've played Everquest for a whole day non stop (except for food) and that totally killed my sleep cycle.
The next most addictive are RPGs for again, similar qualities. My favorites include Final Fantasy 3/6, 7, Star Ocean: TTEOT, Shin Megumi Tensei Nocturne and Lunar 2.
Go RPGs! |

Pretty much every single game I own is an RPG, so getting hooked happened like clockwork for me.
*sigh* Not to mention all of the side-missions(FFX-2)/hidden bosses(FF7)/monster capturing(FFX) etc. and minigames contained within each game. |

I got a lot of addictive games:
World of Warcraft= 3 months (also the most costly game)
Halo 2 for xbox= 2 months (yes people with energy sword should burn)
Pokemon Blue= my entire 4 grade
I currently have not found another game worthy of being addicted to: any suggestions? |

lol, i always get stuck on pretty much any game i own untill i beat it. My favourites are...
5, Halo 2, an awsome game, very well put together, and great a great for parites
4, Super Smash Bros Melee, took a long time to beat all of the bosses and get all of the stuff. There were almost 400 trophies!
3, Resident Evil 4, I like this game because of all of the cool guns and upgrades you can make as well as blowing the brains of zombies w/ shotguns as they try to sneak out at you.
2, Starcraft, awsome single player campaine and battle net and system links are great. i think this was the first game (or one of) to do this. *New game comming out soon -> Starcraft Ghost, looks like this one is going to be great!
1, ANY LEGEND OF ZELDA GAME!!!! Great series, fun and inventive although the boss battles are kinda repetative after a while. *New game comming out soon -> legend of zelda and the twilight princess, link fights on horse back! |
