Games That Got You Hooked/Addicted

First of all (just in case your not sure) hooked in this post means a game that you played and couldn't stop playing it or you enjoyed it so much, that you had no regard on your life whenever you played it

The top 3 games I got hooked up was:

3. (Game Cube) Resident Evil 4 (HAHA I finally beat it take that ugly beard guy Twisted Evil

)

2.(X-Box) Halo 2 - Online (I swear, you people with the energy sword should burn-just joking)

1.(PS2) Dynast Warriors 4 (So simple yet why can't i stop playing? Shocked

)

Don't ask me why I got hooked up in Dynasty Warrior 4 (Okay graphics, funny voice jobs, stupid AI, gliches beyond any game), but I found myself playing it for 3 months before I could actually put my controller down to do something else other than going to the bathroom.

What games did you get hooked on? and WHY?

Final fantasy 7. IMO the best game ever made, with one of the best storyline ever and had the most emotional scene which made my eyes watery. I replayed it many times because there are lots of secrets to collect and to beat the 2 utimate weapons with the most ease and most fastest time. I collected all the materials, collected every secret item and stuff there was, made all my characters lvl 99 and all the ultimate equipment/materia was equiped. I mastered the game 100%. Diablo II was addicting aswell because there are lots of variations in different builds.

these games are so much fun, i'll probably keep playing them until i can max out all my characters and finish all the sidequests and maybe even some more after that (although i've still got a long way to go Very Happy

Earlier I was hooked on the original Mario Party for N64, since I vowed to delete my save file, collect all 100 stars, and defeat both the Magma Mountain and Eternal Star boards, all in under a week. Now I switched over to All-Star Dairantou Smash Bros, and I swear trying to get 10,000,000+ points for every character, namely Link and Yoshi, is near impossible. For Link, I got 97,000,000 points, and you wouldn't believe the fury I was in after the results screen...

games i got addicted to were Phantom Brave, Final Fantasy Tactics, Zelda OoT, and Final Fantasy X. Phantom Brave is probably the most addicting for me.

Deus Ex/Deus Ex 2... the story is just really cool to me. I like it a lot. =D

Quest for Glory II. It's not so hard a game but it's sooooooo totally awesome how fun it is. Puns, action and CHOICE, all in one game. So fun. Very Happy

I've got a few, starting from most recent:

NBA Live 2005 - Must lead my MN Wolves to greatness!!!)
Madden NFL 2005 - One team full of offense, the Vikings; and one team with the best defense, the Ravens! Does defense win championships? We'll see. Very Happy

Star Wars Jedi Academy - This wasn't that great a game, but slashing people with Lightsabers is just sooo much fun!
Dynasty Warriors "Any # but 1" - 3 was probably the best, but I sold it and got 4 instead. But yeah, its so simple, and thats great for simplistic people like me. Hack and slash, oh yeah!

These next ones, I played a while ago, but I just remember that they were awesome.
Final Fantasy VI - Best game ever. Period.
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Well, I would say best game ever, but thats taken up by FFVI.
Grandia II - Best Battle System for an RPG ever.

Theres probably more, but these are just ones that stand out.
