Initial D 4th stage

I havent been here for some time but thats only because of the dialup
anyway i saw the first episode of Initial D 4th stage was out, its going to take me couple of days to download(probably the only anime i will start downloading) so I am wondering if anyone has seen it, and is it any good?

If it's the fob2k4 sub, then you mite wanna not waste ur time...

I was so happy when the sub came out, but when I watched it, I deleted the thing almost straight away.

It's a bunch of immature prats trying to be clever - screwed with the translations big time. The meaning's more or less there, but everything's been subbed as if they're from the ghetto, and loads of cheap jokes.

Funny at times actually - some decent cracks at Naruto - but if you're serious about you're anime and don't want it ruined, don't bother.

Live-Evil and Ideaology have released a good sub of it now.

Just watched it - am not disappointed.

Animation quality and style has improved again, and the CG scenes are really good as well.

The story's moving a bit too slow for an OVA though - not as bad as Hunter X Hunter GI though...

There's only gonna be two episodes released every two months as well!!! ><

The long wait starts...

I'm feeling pretty p'ed about it...

After waiting some 2 yrs for the 4th stage to come out, I still have to wait a year for the whole thing to come out...hai...

Well, guess I could just re-watch the whole series again...

Can't believe they just ended the battle after Takumi won though....I'm sure Keisuke would have had a good race too, but then the hero always gets the attention...

Just confirming, the guy at the end who drives the Civic Type R races on Happogahara right? - in the game i think anyway - that be an interesting race

i saw the whole series a sencond time two or three months ago, and after watching the first ep in the 4th stage(it downloaded in 4 days) i feel like watching it again, i don't know why but this series makes me (don't know which word to use) excited when I watch it, i think that my favorite series is hajime no ippo and this one is just a litle below it
