i thought its supposed to be Read The F***ing Manual but oh well
In the program go to window menu and click on animation
a little window will show up
then you just add layers with whatever pics you want
and you add more frames to the animation window
its really not hard, it took me like 5-10 minutes to figure it out |

you might also try Animation Shop (i think that's what its called)
comes bundled with Jasc's Paint Shop Pro
they're not nearly as advanced as Photoshop... good for the non-artistic like me hehe
idjota: haha yeah... i don't like that word usually i say RTM hehe |

ImageReady works pretty much like PhotoShop, here lies the difference, all the layer are the same for each frame of the animation but were it differs is that you can change the 'state' (visibility, transparency & some other stuff) of a layer for each frame and it will be saved in the currently selected frame, so for the first frame, the content of a layer & some text will be visible while two other layer won't be shown & on the next frame, the first frame & text won't be visible but second text & layer will be.
Here's an example:

aso... well i can work Image ready alrite... but now a new and yet more devastating problem emerges from SB-T's life...
Alrite so check it out it's like this damn brian I'm tryin to make the cloud scene from the end of AIR (I will kill you if u steal this idea) and pu it on as my sig. but i couldn't put it on image ready, i tried shortening the film length by using movie maker, but that fuarked up... so i dunno, if u can extract that scene (wide version) for me it would be much appreciated. _________________ [IMG:630:120:ffc1e5676f]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v167/toolowhobo/parassig.gif[/img:ffc1e5676f] |

you mean you want to put in a vid clip in a gif file?
an animated gif is just a series of frames that you have to take one by one to animate something, you cant just put a clip in a gif file and expect it to work
you have to take screen shots from the anime and then put it in an animated gif |

The basics of importing frames for animated GIF use
1. Load video file ( avi - DiVX/XViD, mkv ) into Virtualdub Mod
2. Go to start of the scene you want
3. Press "Ctrl" and "1" to take a snapshot, which will be loaded onto the clipboard
4. Open your favourite Graphics editor ( Photoshop preferred, ImageReady is possible but is inferior to Photoshop editing-wise )
5. New -> Paste.
6. Go back to Virtualdub Mod, press the Right Arrow key till you advance one noticeable frame.
7. Back to Graphics editor, paste. This will be a new layer on your work.
8. Repeat 6 and 7 till you are done with sequence.
9. To the Graphics editor, save your original work, then do your editing ( clearing up of scenes, levelling, contrast, etc )
10. Resize to the appropriate size, then save under another name.
11. ImageReady |
