Seems like this series is sliding into mediocricy with these lame wham bham shoot outs...

However I will rate this series overall as good with the good character gangland story in the early 16 episodes.

Anyways it is the same in Episode 23, our lovely ursine named character will get snuffed out in a non-spectacular way. And check out those amazing nostalgic flying fists! Brings a tear to my eye remembering all those old huge mecha anime where the primary opening weapon is "Go Flying Fist of Doom!"

Is it just me or are the Superior forms not inspiring at all (and in fact laughable)? Fat guy looks like a flying lard bucket, pyscho looks like a bug-eyed ugly spider reject and the said ursine named character would probably exist better in a mythology anime.

Coming soon. Another rematch. What kind of weird shape are we gonna get this time?

only eps 2-16 of this series has been good so far.....all those fantasical aspects of this series just seem so damn lame...

Yeah, that's what happens when you try to turn a shoot'em up game into anime... The backstory works perfectly, but once you get to the game's storyline it falls flat on its face.

They could have done it more tastefully. BUT what can ya do. It's also getting rushed since it has to cover a bunch of crap in only a handfull of eps. SIGH.. could have been so awsome. Sad

I think the episode where Brandon meets harry will be a good one. Probably very emotional. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

But he already sorta met harry. And well.. nothing much happened. If everything goes the way it's been going, harry will end up being some giant monster. Really hope not.

I found it odd that Grave did not even try to explain what happened to Bunji. But then again Bunji would probably not have listened to Grave’s excuses.

whoa... yep, in small letters, softly whoa...

Seems like they threw us back on track in line with the earlier 18 episodes. Episode 24 threw one big curveball which hit me right in the face when it happened. Shocked

Non-anime information sort of distracted me from this but it should indicate that there would likely be no Gungrave 2 based on the games.

The disintegration of Harry's control continues but now with the revelation that the machinations has been started quite some time ago in secret. The perpetrators shall also be revealed. Their mastermind is an old face that bears the trait of loyalty.

For those who demonise Harry, this episode throws another wet paper in their face (I'm glad to see I was right though Razz

)

WARNING. MASSIVE SPOILER (basis of episode 24). Do not read if you don't want to be spoilt. Really... this is not a "oh this is a spoiler" but a "WHAT THE?!"
Sherry gets killed in Harry's arms!

A slightly less impactful spoiler but still quite critical for the development of the conclusion...
Brandon is disintegrating due to lack of maintenance. Pieces start to fall off at the end...

Anyways Bunji's fight with Harry also gave one slight amazing detail.

yeah "standard" spoiler this time.
Bunji adopts no stupid boss form...

The conclusion of their fight was sort of anti-climatic and seems inconclusive...

Ok... the shades are there but where's the clothes?

Darn... ep24 was good.
