The end was very well done I loved this series. I played the game and I was ok, how they made such a good series from the game is amazing. And ya Mika was annoying to the very end. Very Happy

i thought this ending was awsome. I can't say i didn't expect something along the lines of what actually happen. I give it a 9, only took off 1 for the combined crapness of a few eps and mika's voice...(ugh).

Background story /past was great. Present wasn’t that good. Overall It was still great series. Some say its like Hellsing but I really couldn’t find anything resembling…

The present and the monsters they turned into they could have done better. Especially BoB the helicopter monster who couldn’t do any damage really. The Spider one wasn’t that great either. Bunji and Bear were better.

i wish the series was only ep 2-16, that way it woulda been actually GOOD.
all the junk about necro rise and superiors and the "friendship speech" endings (like in trigun too) just pisses the hell outtta me

Just out of curiosity, did they ever release this action figure in the states? I would have assumed they did but being over here in Japan kind of puts a hamper on checking the places back home that would carry it...

They had a couple of them outside of the Kaiyodo toy store in akiba, figured I'd post it just because.

Pretty slick action figure.

Gungrave is an anime with full of twist and betrayal. Seeing how brandon best friend betrayed him at the end is really sad.The plot is great but not suitable for kids since it has maniy killing and murder.

the past was good, when they came back to the present, it was'nt as good, the ending, even though i am pro-happy endings, was the apropreiate ending.

Yeah, the anime was cool. He was like a bigger, bulkier, quieter and taller version of Vash from Trigun. Okay, maybe they are way different. But hey, they both dig the guns. Laughing

Do you think the artist was the same one in Hellsing? The main character(I forgot his name) reminded me pretty much of Arucard........or am I just thinking too much? Hahaha

I think the people who made this anime were involved with both Hellsing and Trigun.

I really enjoyed this anime, and it had a hell of a story to it. In my opinion, one of the best stories in an anime I've seen lately. I like the serious-ness of the atmosphere, and the characters are pretty deep.

Even though Brandon barely said a word, I really felt for him. I thought he was really cool. When he turned into Grave, his bad ass meter went off the scale.

I'd have to agree with some of you though, some of the present episode were boring. The episodes pre-Brandon's death were really, really good.
