Salad Days

I like how Inokuma came up with the phrase "Salad Days" as the title. The idea of collaborating different short stories was really well done, along with 1 major story with Futaba and Yuuki. The ups and downs that we all experience while riding the love roller coaster is what this manga really conveys. And more so, to put it in as short chapters was just really enjoying to read. There was alot of funny, sad, happy times that made this manga so good. There wasn't a lengthy drifting storyline which would bore the reader, so I compliment Inokuma by doing so. Furthermore by ending the manga with the concentrated couple, was indeed a satisfying ending.

In the end, I came up with 2 favorite chapters. They were:
Cape Tryst and Uniform

I just like any chapter that has Futaba and Yuuki in it.

But I also liked that Run Sabu! or something. That funny looking dude that always wear a smile.

One thing I didn't like is that Futaba is secretive (with the painting chapter) If she had said something, it wouldn't have been a sad chapter. Hell, I'd do the same thing that Yuuki did if my girlfriend came home late every day with no explanation other than "I was busy"

I like romance manga but I don't know about salad days, I just didn't like the way the mangaka did the stories. I always wait before judging mangas so I kept reading it but I got tired of it. Couldn't continue really. ^^;;

I thought that the manga was great even though the stories were a bit short but cant complain, i really enjoyed it cause it reminded me of school times.

this was the greatest of the romance mangas i have read so far
even though the stories are short the stories i really enjoyed were the ones about futabara and yuuki which is the main story
though i wish it was longer to show the end
i guess this is how all good romantic mangas end Smile

i hope they will continue the series again one day
