Hehe, well that's what I thought too~
But once you start, you can't stop. The stories are good, maybe you could reflect and relate to your own experience... There are a lot of characters that has a continuing story throughout the manga.
Although it's quite hard to keep track of all the names.... _________________ EX-mod |

I finally finish Salad days, I still prefer romance-action-adventure/fantasy manga or anime . It makes it more romantic, because of the outline of the story I guess. Lets see ones I like are Detective Conan, the anime(best in movies, there's also some in series) has some romance (the manga too), Kenshin OVA2 (anime:Kenshin married to Kaoru), so romantic.
Oh, yeah, check out Luna Lunatic, it's pretty new but I think it's also worth checking. |

Fairly new to the manga scene and I would never have thought myself as reading a romance style manga. However once I started reading Salad Days I just couldn't stop until I read it to the end. Although some of the stories seemed similar in certain aspects each had its own touch which made it memorable.

Woah... anime?!?! Yes, that's a good idea.
It'd be like a collection of short stories anime. Each episode different than the last.
And there are sometimes Part 1 and Part 2 too right? Yes, it'd be good. Even with a lot of characters... but if you become attached to a certain character, and that character just appears in one episode.. well you'd miss them.
Anyway, I do hope they turn it into an anime. It'd be like Boys Be~ _________________ EX-mod |

| I just finished it and I must say I enjoyed it very much so. If they ever make an anime out of this manga, they should pick out either certain stories from the manga, and make them longer. Like the story with Yuuki and Futaba. I'm pretty sure they can turn that into an anime. |

Hmmm..... I didn't know that.
I seriously like the poems that were mentioned at the beggining of Boys Be.
Even better was the music... totally brought life to the story...
But back to Salad Days, it was a nice manga with various short stories with one longer than others.....
Though it was very confusing when the short stories had different parts which were seperated with other short stories.... I was like, "Huh? Who is this person again?" _________________

| i never thought i would be reading this kind of manga... it wasn't my intention to read it at first but i ran out of mangas to read on A-S... But hey, thank to that instance of boredom and whim i read the manga and surprisingly i enjoyed it... most of the short stories depict well the situations in highschool love... i can even mention some of the people i know who have similar situations as with the manga... its a good manga... a nice alternative to those who are used to the science fic and fantasy and world encompassing stuff... |

Lol, it is really fun to watch how the characters end up with one another...
It never failed to amaze me how odd situations can bring up feelings.
a nice ending. I really liked this manga. |

one of the many good points of this manga is that the short stories actually end... and not keep me hanging on that much... that is good for me cause i am hella curious about stuff and if there is enough bait to it, i will be biting... for instance ichigo 100%, man that has a lot of cliffhanger moments... so it kept me reading... hahaha at least salad days gave me a breather of some sort... so its good... _________________
