World of Warcraft - Is it fun?

If anyone on Frostwolf server horde side toss me a tell lvl 60 warlock with lvl 300 enc/eng who knows i might do some encs for free...maybe hehe.

world of warcraft, or WOW as some call it, is a really good game. I've heard so much about it in school and in malls, etc... I can't wait to get it...

btw... what servers are there and whats the difference between each?

The number of servers is pretty big but if your talking about classes of servers it down to 3.
PvE
PvP
RP
PvE is player versus envirorment or play v monsters. You can interact with people from the other side but cant kill them unless both people have turned on their flags which let them kill each other.
PvP is basicly the same thing as PvE but you can kill each other at will in almost any zone and by this i mean horde vs alliance.
RP is just a role playing server same as other but you just,,,role play. More or less you are suppose to role play the charcter which you play if your into that.
More or less thats it also if you chose a server take into consieration the population on that server as well as a med/high pop server tends to lag and crash more. any other questions feel free to ask Very Happy

Wow is fun but once you hit level 60 the game gets very repetetive. Also, once you done the quest with one of your characters the 2nd time around gets very boring. Ganking is a problem now due to the new honor kill system.

WoW is ok, its really fun at the begining but after ahwile all your really doing is just levelign up, which can get very boring. But hey I haven't really gotten that far so I wouldn't know that much. Very Happy

i'm into lineage but i'm back on warcraft frozen throne ...world of wracraft is just not esthethic to me (sorry if i wrote it wrong)

I think the whole 3 months thing is really a good measurement of how good the game is. I felt like I was doing the same things over and over again. After level 10 it loses a lot of its charm. WoW really doesn't have a lot to offer that other MMO's do. I hate the fact that you are stuck in one class and I hate the fact that there aren't a lot of character customizations. It really sucks seeing the same looking characters over and over again. To me character individuality is important.

Star Wars Galaxies on the otherhand is very different. It really does feel massive. The character customization has much greater freedom then WoW. SWG is also one of the few games where its quite concievable to play a character without killing something ever. You have that much control. I also like the freedom of picking different classes and if I don't like them switching to another. It's not where I'm a level 12 paladin and realize that I should have been a warrior. I realized I didn't want to be a scout and now I'm a Tie Fighter pilot. The only major problem I have with SWG is that its too buggy.
