The sub's nothing fancy but the translation is excellent.
About the fire, it's just stuff that happened behind the scenes so I think the best thing is to do what the show says in the beginning "Don't talk so much. Shut up and watch." Smile

what u lot think? I reckon Fuu coulda been blended in a bit better, but i couldn't seem to get the right kinda effect I wanted so I left it as is :/

i watched the episode over the weekend and i think this sereis has a lot of promise. i liked the ending with her tripping. i liked the way they presented the simultaneous events. this is one i will definitely keep an eye on. since this and tenten are both geneon productions tho, i hope they get fansubbed.
does anyone know the length for this one?

First episode was just amazing as everyone has said here... just can't wait to see the rest of them and this looks like it can go on to be one of be best series this year in terms of animation and uniqueness. Hopefully the plot is a masterpiece too.

not a bad show, seemed definetly fun...at first i read some reviews that said the story sucks ass, but even in the first epp it was good and interesting and was seting up the caracters and their meeting. compared to Tenju Tenge which almost everyone sais is awsome, this is a much better show, with more interesting characters.

hmm, i just watched the aoi-anime version tonite n i must say that i really like it. Mugen is like a monkey lol. Does neone nos wuts the intro song is?? ireally like that song esp. the music n the beat. Im so glad this series r still being even though its licensed. Keep up the good jobs fan subbers. THis go to bakafish n aoi of course. Smile

yea this series looks to be great, makes you hooked just after 1 episode. Which subbin do you guys prefer, i like ani-kraze just a little better than aoi, but its just a preference thing i guess

Btw I'd avoid the Ani-Kraze release, they've totally f***ed with the dialogue. They've used very poor word choice, changed the meaning of a lot of phrases, and added a lot of slang. Thus they've changed the feel of the characters and the show itself. Even if the premise of Samurai Champloo is samurai + hip-hop they shouldn't change it to "boys from da hood" translation wise Mad

Aoi: "Fifty, take it or leave it."
AF-F: "I won't even bargain for one less."
A-K: "That won't even get you a bitchslap." (?!)

For some reason I am stuck on Baka-Fish's version. They don't have the nicest editing like the other groups but I love they way they translated it. So it may seem a bit vain but I can choose. I know what counts is the translation but Baka-Fish texts are horrible. Ah...That ends my little rant ^^;

Note: Ya Kraze really fucked up the translation I have seen three different ones and theirs' is by far the worst.
