Im a huge fan of the A-Source Review Database. Its pretty much the reason I found A-Source and its usefullness is great. I love submitting reviews and i always like to write reviews that tell the truth and if its good make tha anime appealing. But... I realize in my haste to get points back in the day of Direct DL's(reason I saw Maria sama ga miteru) that i wrote some pretty bad reviews. The scores might be right but sometimes ill get reviews sent back for small potential spoilers or a mistaken sentance or two and I think that these bad reviews might hurt my credabilty as a review or even more important the review base. So I figure since peoples opinions change and they write reviews in haste, I kinda am wondering if maybe an edit review button could be added to sorta make that option available. Now im sure if i emailed a re-done review to an admin hed read it and eventually fix it but i figure theres got to be some people out there who dont want to make waves and figure if a button was added things would be better all around. Thoughts?

Interesting idea, but you could just post/PM an Admin to let you edit your reviews.

i dont know about the edit button, since if some one has something against anime source for some reason they could just go a write some stupid things in the place of a good(or at least accepted) review

i say that it would be best to pm an anime review admin

woah im not saying this edit review button is for everyone. I figure if something could be worked out like the system for editing forum posts could be put into place on the review page or in the member profile, that would be best. Now please dont hate me A-Source admins but i also figured that the edits would be looked over as well to provide the high quality reviews that im sure everyone wants. I couldnt say if that would distinctly add more to your workplate but i just figure its a simplified way of making things better.

We are looking at ways to improve our site. I understand your concerns ( back then, when I was just a member, I bugged macer then to change some of my stuff, three times in a row Laughing

). Right now though, the idea is up for debate.

In the meantime, please email/PM an anime review admin to help you edit your review if you feel that it needs some changes.

I don't like the idea of people being to change their reviews after they've gone through screening.

We have lots of spammers here but it doesn't get through because we stop it at the screening process.

Current method would be to save a copy of your old review and ask one of the staff to delete your review so you can write another one.

Yebyosh has listed all the anime reviews staff, i'm sure anyone of them would be happy to help you.
