The purpose of point is to reward active member of the community. Right now, we only "require" point for the manga. So to read some manga, you need some number of point. Look at it as a way for us to say "thank you" to active member who post messages in the forums, write anime reviews, post comments on news (those are all ways to get point).
To check how many points you have, simple click "Account Setting" while you're logged.
You'll have a line saying something like :
Points you have by participating on the site's content: 6940 |

| Points do not go away unless one does something stupid like spamming.. then admins can make those points go away very fast =) |

Is there a way to know how we had acquired the points?
To see how many points we gained by posting messages in the formu, how many by posting reviews or how many by posting comments in the news...
It allows to see how the menber contribute to the site... _________________ MMT |

I was wondering if we can have a function call "Donate" which allows us to donate our points to other members? This will help those who can't wait.
Just a suggestion... _________________ What's yours is mine, what's mine is still mine. |

| but then people would get lazy and only bother other higher members to donate the points to them....what happened to posting good reviews, or posting on the forums withough spamming, like one guy did he posted 50+ post in one day and then did not show up again? |

We can set a rule which don't allow a member to bug other member to donate or set a limit maximum point to donate a day. It's all free will and if they keep bothering other members, get warning or banned?
I notice some members are already indirectly spamming just to get more points, i personally don't need my points much so if i can donate them to others, i'd be glad to. _________________ What's yours is mine, what's mine is still mine. |

This isn't what I meant, I wanted to know if there is a way to know how we adquired points, having something like this :
Points you have by participating on the site's content: 318
Details :
Points you have by posting in the forum : 216
Points you have by posting reviews : 63
Points you have by posting news : 10
points you have by posting comments in news : 15

| Ah, no wonder. I thought, only 1 point add per 1 post without spam. So, I will use other ways than posts. Thank you so much for show me rules. |

I think some people are wondering if they edit their post after posting, does that count?
Well, it doesn't. Editing your post won't let you gain points.
One more suggestion : Since every new members seems to ask the same question over and over again. Why don't we direct new members to the FAQ page when they first login, or make the FAQ link at the left BIGGER? _________________ What's yours is mine, what's mine is still mine. |
