Of course, if they keep posting it's good. But I'll always prefer someone who post good comments because he found the subject interresting rather then someone posting comments because he wants the points to read manga.

Since we opened membership, I have seen a difference in the forums. Of course, more people post, but we did get a few (read lot) of spam. The boardroom for admin is filled with guidelines for moderating this spam.

Good part of it you say ? Well, there are good member who registred, anime reviews are on the rise and such. So in the end, I'll say it's worth it !
