Like I said, close to being spineless. I get picked on a bit by the high shcool types and I don't do much about it.
I don't think I'm any smarter then the others, maybe a bit more mature. |

i tried to join the army because many of my relatives are in the army.
dad was in for 17 years, and i've got numerous uncles, aunts, cousins in the service.
when they asked me have i ever had asthma, i answered yes.
the truth is i had asthma when i was very little, but grew out of it.
for many people it affects you when you're younger but doesnt when your grown.
anyways, they didnt let me in the army because of that.. even though i tried to get many letters of recomendations from people saying i was fine.
oh well....... |

I'm told if you've ever been officially diagnosed with asthma then they turn you away, but if it’s not on your record then you still can. My mother looked into that for my younger brother.
I’m really surprised they’re still being so picky when there have been so many rumors of a draft. If people want to join, why not let them? They have just as much a chance getting killed by a drunk driver as they do from anything else. |

| serving the country??? hahaha you guys crazy man. i serve myselfe. why would somebody want to be in the US army anyway. its not improving its politicall issues with president ho ass bushfucker in the lead. i find these soldiers to be sad figures that like to be manipulated and used. only good soldiers are the ones protecting their country and thus helping peace last. not the ones invading other countries for issues that have nothing to do with nationall or internationall security. its all for personall gain. worst countries in my opinion to be serving for are the USA, N-Korea, Israhell and these palestenes. USA is a fake ass democracy anyway, with only 2 parties for election. what you wanna choose for, for bad or for worse?? shit its almost ass bad as N-Korea. it just saddens me to see the people with no real future cause of their ecnomic sittuations being in the military for a better future. allthough they know theyr gonna get used they have no choice. if bush thinks the war is justified he should send his own daughter to the frontline to fight. |

There's a quote by Henry Kissinger I don't remember - but it's something about the army being the lowest in the overall food chain.
This is how the leaders view its chattel. |

I don't think I ever want to join the armed forces, unless it's as an accountant or something. I don't really believe in serving one's country, since I wouldn't be acting in my own best interests. I hate the politics, and since the gov't controls the actions of the armed forces, it'd feel to much like stepping on myself, methinks. Anyway, I think I'd only enlist if there was something I felt I needed to personally fight for, which required me to enlist. _________________ Why would you sell off a treasure to get money? remember, everyone who goes into the army signs up for it.
i dont think there will be a draft unless there's a full scale world war.
and with today's technology that will never happen.
the army does provide lots of benefits, i think its a pretty good profession to get into. the army isn't for everybody.. but for the people who like it, its great. |

My country just started national service not long ago which means youngster are now force to go training like a soldier. Luckily my age is above the requirement so i don't need to go. I don't even think it's a good idea to force people to train since they are not willing to serve their country. _________________ What's yours is mine, what's mine is still mine. |

| Not a citizen of the nation I'm living in... can't really, and they tried to get me in it, but I just can't... the government even is giving me a hard time with Green Card (I'm in US), and I've been studying in this country for 5 years already now. |
