i thought it was a turn based game but its not.. the graphics are quite good! is there any web that shows the walkthrough book?

Gamefaqs.com actually has better walkthroughs than the official strategy guide.

The game was really good, except for the voiceovers and the absolutely horrible story on the second disc.

I loved it. took me a while to see all the endings, and waaay longer to finish the bonus dungeons. damn, those optional bosses are hard.

I never got the NelxFayt ending... much sadness. She was the only cool female character.

that was the first one i got. i also like how the scene in the ursa cave temple bonus dungeon shows a little more of the ending you had. I haven't seen all of those though. that would really take an eternity. @_@

I'll be hitting those bonus dungeons soon... hmmm... maybe after final exams.

I'm also playing the first Xenosaga at the moment. After SO3, this game is a headache.

hehe quite ashamed to say that i didnt get past the last boss... didnt had enough items (need that item equivilent to ff's phoenix down) and too lazy to backtrack all the way back to get more...

didnt really like the twist in the story... the start and the end of the story juz dont really link much....

You should just make lots of Gratin through item creation.

The story started off strong and descended into... blah.

I borrowed Star Ocean from a friend who gave up halfway of the story. Now that I was playing so well he asked to give the game back because now he feels like playing it. Shocked

And I know that he's really sloooowwwwwwwwww.......... on those aventure games. I'ts going to take me a while until I get my hands back on the game.... Dammit! Crying or Very sad

I'm sure the game isn't that expensive now. I got it new from Circuit City for $40.

I've finished the Maze of Tribulation though and haven't been playing it for a while ever since Xenosaga 2 comes out ^^. Well, is is a very good game though and with all the cancels, it is very fun to see the figure shoots up the roof. Anyways, guys, how many BTs you have so far?? I can only manage to get around 140 BTs.

i'm not really sure. to lazy to check right now.
the maze of tribulations was EASY though wasn't it? so i expected gabriel whats-his-face to be easy too so i got my ass kicked. i was at level 87. so i got a triple EXP bar going (i love those things) and levelled up to level 150.
poor dude never knew what hit him.
Sphere 211 was a lot more challenging, if a little repetetive.

i am MIGHTY VOX!!! not shown during the main story

hehe that was funny and serious Norton! sphere 211 was pretty bad lots of monster would kill me in 1 hit or a bunch of hits at one time bt i got i believe 160 did u guys know that u can change the costumes of the characters? i didn't know that and then the other costumes for sophia are way better and fayt with claude's outfit just great

dude, item creation makes life a heck of a lot easier. it really does. you should make some weapons as early as you can, it really helps a lot.
