yeah i waited for Star ocean for liek 2 years and man iwas super disappointed by the time it came out it was so outdated and all those glichs and bugs in the japanese version were worked out for the us release but man when a bug would occur the game woiuld lag like for 5 mins sigh and the story was reallie freakin bad and was not wat i expected. O and by the time the story does get better its to late u wont prob want to play it ne more like me XD

I thought the story actually worsened over time. It started out much stronger than it ended. And being outdated well... I think that's just a stupid argument. The graphics should never be a big part of an RPG. it should be gameplay and story. Gameplay is top in SO3, the battle system was really refreshing an well done. The story, like I said, became less interesting over time, but was still good enough to finish. The characters and their interactions (PA's) really helped keep the world (or universe) of SO3 interesting. Also, the soundtrack was very well done. I don't see what part of it is actually outdated, besides maybe the graphics. And I think those still held up pretty well compared to other rpgs. take shadowhearts for example. I don't find that to be particularly good in terms of graphics, yet nobody uses the term "outdated" there.

I like using Nel and Fayt...both of them has battle skill that is easy to cancel combo....
the third character...maybe Maria and Mirage is a good choice, but i don't like spellcaster (sophia and adray), they can't depend too much on themself if they are alone...
