I thought replacing "posture" and "cyclists" was pushing it a bit. Frankly, it always bothers me when I see the [...] symbol in a quote, because you REALLY DON'T KNOW what may have been cut out. "I do not think we should do that." easily becomes "I [...] think we should do that."
For another example of how important context is, an internet buddy of mine once said the following:

| So now the cock just slides back and forth, without actually doing anything beneficial. A little glue should do the trick, but I'm not sure how well it will hold. |
He was talking about an airsoft gun.

Have you been to a doctor yet and what are your other symptoms? |
Haven't been to the doctor. I think I was suffering from withdrawal symptoms. It was my own fault really. I can safely say that my daily caffeine consumption exceeds 700 mg a day, so if I go cold turkey I will get sick.
The Boring: Today was a pretty average day.
The Bad: I've got DIY work to do around the house this weekend. Still not feeling 100%. _________________

Yeah, you should probably work on cutting back a little. The equivalent of 4.5 16 oz energy drinks just isn't good for you. Try cutting 100 mg every few days and try to be around 300 mg/day in a couple of weeks. That's a much healthier amount. 250 mg or less would be even better, and you wouldn't notice nearly the difference if you skip a day. |

That could work. When I did some research yesterday, I found that the coffee I drink has about 160 mg per cup, assuming you put one teaspoon of coffee in. I only have 2 cups of coffee a day, but 4 spoons of coffee in each. So that would be 1280 mg a day excluding the caffeine I get from other stuff. The problem is that I love strong coffee. I guess I could go buy the decaf version of my coffee. That may work.
The Bad: I got nothing happening the weekend. Got no new anime. Got no new music. Got no working computer. Got no cash. I'm gonna be very bored. _________________

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I avoid caffeine.
I do use it occasionally. Usually when I'm about to fall asleep on the job. I think the effect is more psychological than chemical, though. _________________ The pen is mightier than the sword

Surprisingly, I sleep better after a good cup of coffee. All the coffee I drink is at night, and it doesn't affect my sleep. This is most likely because I have built up a tolerance for caffeine, and it is because of the tolerance that I suffer from withdrawal symptoms. Well, this is how I see it anyway.
Now for the good part of my day: I now have a cute kitten as a pet.
The bad part about this: My other cat and rabbit don't exactly get along with him.
The weird part: He's got a ♥ shape on the center of his chest. Maybe he's got super powers or something. _________________

I love kittens. Just stir fry them with garlic, ginger, and soy sauce- freaking delicious. |

My kitten is still too young, so there's no meat yet. I'm gonna need to fatten him up.
The Good: There was a Indiana Jones movie festival on tv last night. All the movies except the most recent one were played in order, one after the other. The most recent Indiana Jones movie will be on tonight.
The Bad: The movie fest ended in early hours of the morning. The kitten woke me up early this morning. _________________

I think this is true for many people, and I'm not sure what, if anything, the caffeine has to do with it.
Good: new $20 laptop is more killer than I had previously thought.(AMD Turion 64-bit dual-core, Radeon X1200, 2GB RAM)
Bad: no hard drive(yet), Radeon X1200 does not get along with most Linux graphical shells(throws a crash error). Also, the case design isn't as shiny as my current laptop. I'm strongly considering using the new one as the core of my tablet PC build(That one uses a macbook as the core, but the concept is pretty similar).
[edit]Found one that works, and currently posting from my new(still brainless) laptop.[/edit]
[more edit]Awesome: My car got frosted last night. I used a flamethrower to defrost it before work today.[/more edit] _________________ The pen is mightier than the sword

I'm still waiting for Windows 7 to come out. I think it's out on 22 October. The only computer I've been using recently is a MacBook Pro 5.1. It's not a bad laptop with a 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 4 GB DDR3 ram. Still, I hate the OS.
The Good: My wait for Windows 7 is almost over.
The Bad: I might not have enough cash. _________________

So while I look forward to 22 October getting closer everyday, Lone is stressing more with every passing day? Funny how that works. Two people on different sides of the world are worrying about the same day, but in different ways.
Good luck on getting that info in on time, Lone.
The Good: I found out that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat is coming out soon.
The Bad: I drank way too much Coke today and I know it's gonna affect me somehow later on today. _________________

Good: I got my second birthday present today (the actually date was 10 days ago). So far it's friends: 1, girlfriend 1, entire family: 0. Doesn't my family know they have to buy my love?
Bad: My freaking iPod got stolen (see rant in LTE). Studying continues to average about 75% of what I actually want to get done. |

The Good: Found some awesome mods for the two S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games I have.
The Bad: Getting excited over games and fansub anime is useless until I fix my computer. Someone tried to break into the house yesterday, so I'm been worried that the house may have been marked.
So mstice, I take it you didn't back up the music on your iPod? I've got about 15 GB of music on my phone, and since I always have my phone on me it's not likely to get stolen. Maybe you should try get a iPhone? It's the best of both worlds. _________________

Nope, most of the music was not backed up. A lot of the music was uploaded from my previous computer and a lot of it was salvaged from my previous mp3 player (an old iRiver which conveniently hooked up like a portable hard drive, just click and drag). Unfortunately Apple doesn't like people extracting files from iPod to computer and I was too cheap to buy a program that will do it anyway, so only about 1/2 or less is on this computer. |
