Guilty as charged. I don't want to remember how much I spent on my computer last year. I think I spent $2200, but it was a high end machine and still is. The only problem is that it's a desktop computer, but it suits my lifestyle fine. If I find that it needs to be faster, I'll just replace what I need to by myself. I was lucky though as I could get most of the parts of my computer at near cost price.

The Good: Windows 7 was released today.

The Bad: I haven't been paid yet so I'm still waiting to get Windows 7.

Bad: I alienated another friend last night, and it doesn't look like she's going to take the hint that I'm not doing it because I want to, I'm just following the path ahead of me.

Good: I'm reasonably sure that the aftermath of that particular chain of events is, finally, over.

Hey Lone, sounds like the path you have chosen has many sacrifices along the way. I just hope you'll have no regrets when you've reached your goal.

The Good: I was out of the office the whole day today. It's nice to work on site from time to time.

The Bad: The day I'm out of the office turns out to be a hot day, and I'm wearing black clothes.

I finished finally the chronological maps for ancient Britain. It took weeks to finish. But as I remember now, longer it took to me to make the time to finish the last centuries, than how long I spent on the complete creation.

Bad:
By finishing Britain it's done only 5% of the total work Crying or Very sad

The Good: Got Windows 7 Ultimate Edition yesterday. I've found it to be easier to use and figure out than Vista. There are many possibilities. I ended up paying $266 for it, which is actually considered very cheap here in SA.

The Bad: I had to format my computer in order to install Windows 7. I spent most of last night transferring all my data over from my two external hard-drives. I'm probably gonna spend the next week or two trying to organise all my data.

The Good: Since I now have my computer up and running again, I've been playing games, watching fansubs, listening to music and watching hundreds of AMV's everyday.

The Bad: I've been way too distracted to do any kind of organizing on my computer.

The fun: tomorrow, planning to go out shopping with a friend to augment his girlfriend's Halloween costume.

the running joke is that he's gay and she's actually a guy, so we're going to see if we can assemble a prosthesis to make Dr. Manhattan feel inadequate.(Hopefully WITHOUT visiting any adult toy stores.)

He wants it to stand up to tactile inspection, as well as visual. Laughing

The Good: Organised everything that needed to be done for my friends upcomming wedding.

The Bad: I've had already had double my usual amount of coffee today, and it's still early morning.

The Strange: My sister is going to a Halloween party tonight, dressed in a sailor uniform? I though Halloween was supposed to be scary.

The Good: Been very occupied since my computer is working again. Playing many games, watching many fansubs, listening to lots of music. I'm starting to neglect my social life a little. I guess i should give the computer a break for a while.

The Bad: My hands look like raw meat. Kittens are playful and dangerous creatures.
