It will be ridicuslous to make a American to try to do Japanese stuff... Leave Animes for Japanese to handle, each countries are the best for their own stuffs.

Comic writers could never make a good manga cause they're too involved in action. I mean the fighting aspects of any manga they made would be awesome, but when it comes to the character development and relationships they'd be lacking.
