I don't know how many people know about it but
recently i picked up pc gamer and intere there was an article about a new console that plays only computer games, is by DISCover(never hear of it before) but they won't make the consoles instead they are licensig the technology to other companies like ApeXtreme and Alienware. The ApeXtreme will come out on the market sometime this summer and it will be around $500 and Alienware is not sold through retail but it will cost much more(but since its alienware the harware will be better)
now, the only thing that I am wonderign is who is going to buy this, because for around $700-1000 you can build yourself a decent gaming pc and its going to be much more functional than the console, but at the same time the console will be directed towards gaming so maybe the perfomace will be better
what do you guys think? |

| the concept has been floating around for quite some time and they have been created and are currently just being tested right now however most of the testing is currently done with ea *sigh* the only major problem they are having right now are all the patches and stuff |

| i read the same article and i must say, i wouldnt mind having one if i could afford it, but i really dont need a potable gaming pc. Also labtops do suck at gaming but there are exceptions and those could be ready alternatives to a portable council even if they do cost a bit more |
