man, i where do u get all these games???
heh, i guess since i'm not japanese, i'm rather left out.
oh well.
but after naruto gets released in the US, there'll be a lot more games then. |
I know some ppl who imported one on the GC, but I dont know which one it was. it was pretty good though. Too much button mashing and some combos were cheap, but pretty fun 4 player action |

| I played the three on game cube and the second on PS2. Naruto 3 on game cube is the best for me but I must admit that Naruto 2 on PS2 is really cool. I gess you try to make your own choice. |

| I played the 2nd Naruto game for the Gameboy Advance(It was in japanese and I didn't understand a thing). Though I found the action repetive, it was pretty fun. I beat the game in one day though. |

| the only naruto games i played are the ones for gc. i really like the art work in the game. still has that anime look and feel to it. the learning curve is pretty easy. specials can be done by pressing one button and combos are easy to pull out by button mashing. for the hardcore gamers that like the fighting genre, the naruto game for gc has counters which take some time to learn and the timing. great game. if u were considering getting it for the gc i would recommend it. i never played the ps2 version tho |

IMHO "Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3" for the GameCube is a kickass game.. there's no fighter i enjoy more than that game...
and to all those "it's a button masher game" people.. u wouldn't win even one round against an experienced GNT3 player when u play like that..
it's easy to learn but hard to master..
but u have to play against friends, just playing the comp makes the game boring real fast |

The only one I could get my hands on was Naruto Narutimate Hero 2 for the PS2. Graphic-wise, it was good; cell shading was done right. It was in japanese, but I found a translation FAQ. The specials look amazing. But my only gripe is the simplicity of the controls. I enjoy actually doing something to land a special (think GGXX's control list), and not just a simple double tap up or down and circle. I kinda feel this game is for Naruto fans first, and for fighting game fans a distant second. I feel this was for the first two DBZ Budokai games too (they polished the fighting engine in the third installment).
For me, a fighting game has to be fast-paced, and challenging. This one was neither. To drive my point through, I showed it to someone who didn't know about the Naruto anime (yes, such people do exist, but are soon to be extinct). That's right, he didn't like it. |

| I imported in Naruto: GNT3 and received it yesterday. It was not too hard to navigate the menus thanks to a FAQ. Every character that I have unlocked, the last one being Gaara, have some ability or oppurtunity to beat one another. The graphics are great, but the lighting effects on the models aren't since there is no chance in lighting on them whether they are fighting in daylight or moonlighting it up. The brighter characters in the series can look out of place on some of the stages. Some people may call it a button mashing game, and sometimes great things can be pulled off by it. In my opinion, the gameplay is too deep to merit a simple playing approach. There are a few ways to evade an attack, but only when you know the other character as well as you know your own character, it is very hard to punish the opponent once they miss you and continue on with their string. |

| I have GNT 2 and 3 and they are essentially the same game, but 3 has more characters. Its a great game if you have 4 people to play with. My gamecube was one for about a month between my roommates and myself skipping class to play GNT2. If you would end up palying the game by yourself only, i wouldnt suggest it. you should also Ban the use of Akamaru and Itachi. Both character are just too cheap to have fun with. Easy to win a 3 on 1 with both of them. |

| I have played arutimett hero 2 on ps2, and it is cool as hell. I wish I could read the Jap, so that I could understand the single player mode. The game play remindes me of Smash Bros, and the in play animated sequences are just plain awesome. I can't wait until the comes to America, or the third one comes out. |
