Favorite: Final Fantasy Tactics (Sorry Gafgarion, but thing is, I have to kill you... It ain't fair you were so cool!)
Runner up: Final Fantasy IX (The Steiner and Beatrix part was memorable. Textbook, semi-ridiculous knight with a demi-godly general at his side, and a very nice special theme.)
Third place: Oh... Fire Emblem. (Nice hybrid between turn-based strategy and RPG, storyline isn't the most original thing out there, but gameplay-wise it was great. Oh and between this and the Advance Wars Series, I would choose AW, except that it isn't an RPG, so...)
I've left out a lot of classics, but it doesn't mean they aren't in my all-star list. |
