shikamaru and his carefree attitude
Rock Lee and Naruto because they both are hard workers
Zabuza because he was a bad ass

That will be kakashi....he just stay cool all the time and best villain is orochimaru.....the way he showed his evil is very good.

In no particular order:
Shikamaru (brain over brawn - pity about the motivation)
Jiraiya (comedy gold)
Hinata (Naruto needs a girlfriend and Sakura is just too annoying)
Naruto himself (both pranking around and serious)

My vote for the least favourite: Gai (too cheesy), although prior to his reforming, Neiji was the Genin I really hated.
