Queen fan, right here. I'm impartial to Creed...not loving it, not hating it.
My favorite song would definetly have to be Bohemian Rhapsody. I just really liked thse song for some reason... |

Uhmm... How about "each his own"?  I have listened to two of their albums; there are many similar rock/grunge/metal bands that make much better music (Tool, A Perfect Circle, Nirvana, Jane's Addiction, Bush, Alice in Chains, Weezer, etc.). Creed is just another mainstream band that uses popular tendencies to sell lots and lots of cds. To sum things up, here's a quote from Allmusic.com:
"At a time when many other Seattle disciples were lapsing into inactivity or experimenting with less commercially established sounds, Creed carried the torch of straightforward, grungy hard rock without apology, and they were amply rewarded, selling millions upon millions of albums in just a few years' time. That success didn't translate into critical acclaim; most reviewers slammed their music as derivative and formulaic"
I'm not telling you that you shouldn't like them or be "inspired" by them, but the most they can get from me is a big yawn.

hm, creed... i even like "with arms wide open", but, to be honest, personally i don't like creed
and what about Queen? i am almost addicted to this band, i love their songs, especialy the old ones

| well if its classic rock that you think is good. i say go for the band. they have a very good sound. as well as the eagles, and eric clapton. but as for queen my favorite songs of theirs are killer queen and save me. nad hey im only 19 so this music is way to old for me. |
