The Wallflower / Perfect Girl Evolution

Has anybody read this? From what I've seen on the Internet, it isn't very popular, but... I think it's just simply awesome. ^^

The basic premise is, four guys who live together as roommates in a big mansion are offered free rent if they can somehow transform the landlady's niece into a 'lady'. They're just psyched about this... until they meet Sunako for the first time, who looks like she walked straight out of a horror film (she has the appearance and stage presence of that scary little girl in Ringu/The Ring). How will these boys accomplish their goal if they can't even stand in the same room with her without screaming, crying, and breaking out in hives?

I own volumes one and two. The second volume isn't as good as the first, but I have hopes that the story will remain strong, and not cause me to lose interest! ^^

You haven't heard too much about it because its was translated under the name of "Perfect Girl Evolution".

I know that Animewaves.net was doing translations but I'm not sure if they are continuing with it, they were around volume 7.

Well, that would explain a lot! Thank you for that info! Maybe now I'll finally be able to find other fans of the series and a lot more fansites! *goes off to do so*

since PGE was licensed and there was no translator for it, i believe the manga got droped

this might not happen, depends on what animewaves decides to do but we(i'm also part of animewaves staff) might start releasing pge again, but dont get your hopes up just yet

i've read 3 volumes of it in a B&N and its surprisingly entertaining, though its a shojo manga which is not my favorite thing to read

While this manga is funnier than I thought it was going to be, I don't really like the illustrations. The boys are supposed to be handsome, but sometimes, they just look freakish with their super bony bodies and huge eyes.

http://mangarun.com has quite a bit of for reading online. It's an interesting series--you don't often see shoujo/male harem type series with such an un-cute protagonist. A bit of a happy change from the flowers and brightness of some other shoujo.

Lol, you can buy it on amazon now~ Its been out for quite a long time. i think they have up to volume 14 now? About.

I do creepy things like Sunako sometimes - I chuckle when watching horror films and I like blood~ heh
