I didn't realise there was activity here. The Aussie thread has been dead for so so long now Sad

You and Terent might be the only active Europeans. There are probs some lurking in the shadows. A lots of people don't actually check these 'area' threads much. So I was surprised there is some constant posting here.

Random note... today I realised I've been spelling surprise wrong. I always spelt it 'suprise' <-- spell check does have some advantages xD

Do you still read Mahou Sensei Negima? I've started reading it and caught up to the most recent chapter in a day. An instant favourite! Very Happy

I haven't read any Negima for a couple months now I think. Just haven't had the time to Sad

but I definitely will catch up with it when the holidays come round.

However I have read some blogs about recent chapters.

Setsuna and Konoka have a a patico(sp?) now!!!

I've been waiting for ages.

I've d/led the first of the OVAs I think. And I've seen that... though I don't really remember much of it.

I think I fell behind on the manga when they deal with Yue at the magic school, just up to the part where she and the other girls get to go into 'town' to meet 'Nagi' or something along those lines anyway. It really has been a while.

Kimmie, so glad you can join us from down under! Always great to have more visitors.

Been working this weekend in the emergency department. Bloody 9am to 10pm. Just got back home and I'm up again tomorrow.

Still, at least I'm forced to make full use of my time... such as responding to posts from A-S Very Happy

You 2 seem to be pretty clued up on the Negima franchise. I've only seen the 2005 version. What are the new ones like? Namely this supposed redo and these OVAs?

Man that sounds like a pretty hardcore day. But seriously you're like my role model terent, what you're doing now, is something I hope to be doing too someday xD

I actually haven't seen any of the two Negima series. I only got into the manga last year-ish and from what I've read about the series... I'm not too keen on watching any of the two series ^^;;

Terentius: Your days are always like that.

Negima: I started with the anime adaptations and I've seen all of them. The one in 2005 was OK imo. The remake in 2006 was somewhat better (more funny, cooler action), the two OVAs (Natsu and Haru) were the usual fanservice episodes. The most recent OVA (Ala Alba) follows the manga and it's the best so far. There will be another OVA in September(?), this will be the continuation of Ala Alba. Still the manga owns all of them. Cool

Well, not always... only when you do surgery!

To be honest, working a 12 day week took some getting used to. But it wasn't so bad.

It was actually really nice this weekend. A lot of the patients I saw and examined were pleasant enough people. What was really good was that for all of them, I got my diagnoses correct. So when my senior colleagues looked at my findings and management plan their own response was:

"Hmm... no change to management. Continue as mentioned above."

I tell you, correctly identifying a condition and getting the plan right really made my week Laughing

But getting back to anime...

I'm tempted to revisit negimi, but I'm so absorbed with some manga right now, that I don't think I'll have the time to read of of them. I've already got the likes of spice and wolf from last year to watch and it's been sitting on my HD for nearly 10 months now.

Then there's the newer shows... such as haruhi season 2 Very Happy
