i read manga cause it's original... sometimes the anime version sucks...
and the drawings in manga are mostly a lot better than the CG in anime |

| A while ago, I watched Toonami Midnight Run and watched DB and DBZ. Then my friend inspired me more to like it, so then I also started reading the manga. |

Umm, first manga would have been vol#1 of Ranma. I remember it being really, really funny. The words of 'School of Indescriminate Grappelling' can still make me chuckle. The mental images they bring up are better left undescribed... _________________ 'My hat! My hat! There's vomit on my hat!' - Sven Vollfield. |

The manga got peoples interest in my country 7 years ago or so, but it's more popular now than before. Until then I really didn't know or think much about buying the mangas (DBZ was the first on the market), nor did I know of scanlation and stuff like that. But now I am loving it more and more because I get to read the stuff I've always been fond of (I'm not kidding, comic books, and novels are the best, better than computer games, maybe except from Final Fantasy games, or equal to it).
The first time I ever saw a japanese animation was back around 1992-93 (DBZ of course), and I thought it was fun, but after that I saw something that totally got me hooked with japanese manga/anime, an anime about soccer, and back then I was pretty crazy about soccer. The anime's name was "Aishita he Free Kick", I loved how the story was constructed, and a bit sad over it's ending (although nothing bad happened, the ending litterally told us the story would continue as it had done so far).
I only recently got caught in the madness once again, and that was after I read DBZ, and got aquantainted with Naruto, so in short I'm saying that Naruto did this to me , and now it just keeps getting worse and worse.... AND I LIKE IT |

| I was watching an anime (I can't remember which one anymore) and I heard that there were somethings in the manga that weren't in the anime so I searched for it and the rest is history. That was about a year ago. Before that point I thought reading manga when I could choose to watch an anime, was ridiculous. Bah...what a fool I was. |
