what's your favorite system?

Everyone goes on about PS2 and all their great RPG's..
noone seems to know that Xbox has great RPG's too =/
I mean... they have Elder Scrolls III:Morrowind, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I((Who was awarded to the best RPG in 2003)) and II
they have Jade Empire and Fable ^_^
But I guess that only Japanese RPG's like the Final fantasy series counts as RPG's around here <.<

i agree. Xbox has RPGs as well. i think if i had to pick a system to buy right now, i would choose xbox.

There is no other choice for RPGs other than Playstation 2.

although u say xbox has great rpgs that shouldnt be the reason y u buy an xbox since morrowind is on the pc... easier to adapt and has 2 expansions
KOTOR as well is on the pc and personnally i find it easier to handle
while ps2's most interesting are probably its rpgs
xbox has been bought by more serious fans who crave action games like halo.....
i still cant make up my mind about gamecube capabilities though since nintendo has always been there for a younger audience who has ADD and cant wait for loading times but i feel that they are still never fantastic in the graphic departement..... although its huge improvement finally going to cds i dont feel like they are up to the competition.....

for me pc is the best because u can get all good game and upgrade anything like vga card sound card, second i choose xbox because i like good graphic and xbox have amore good graphic than ps 2 and i like shooting game and action not rpg so that why i choose xbox , halo 2 and half life 2 and counter strike is rules man . but i want to get psp now

As far as Morrowind goes, it's 10 times better for the PC, it's got better loading times, graphics, everything.

The PS2 has got some good RPGs, but I have yet to find a PS2 that does not have something wrong with it. PS2 wasn't built to last, and I'm kinda tired of re-aligning the laser. Also, being the oldest of the three newest systems, the loading times are pretty bad. I have to agree on the content in the PS2, though, Sony has got some of the best console games running on its systems, and the PS isn't exactly a system to laugh at, either.

The XBox is the newest and fastest of the three newest consoles, though it doesn't have very many RPGs (although the KOTOR series is fairly bitching). It makes up for the RPGs with alot of action games, alot of which are fun, but I'm getting a little sick of all the Halo hype. Halo and Halo 2 are good games, sure, but they're not as completely amazing as people make them out to be.

If it weren't for Resident Evil 4, I would be saying that GCN isn't worth getting. It has some good things, but not enough to warrant shelling out the dough to get it. However, RE4 dies exist, and yes, that one game is good enough to make buying a GCN just for it a sane idea. I could go on for hours about how amazing it is, but I'm not gonna. Also, it's got a good game here or there that's fun, so it's not too bad a choice.

I have a DS, but i'm afraid that no good game is EVER going to come out for it. I'm waiting, hoping, and praying, though, but right now I can't say it's actually worth owning.

The PC is personally my favorite way to play games. It's fastest (though that's not true for everyone's computer), and it has, overwhelmingly, the largest selection of games available for it. I can name two games for the PC that are as good as or better than any game you name for a console. Once again I could go on, but I'll cut it off at "Deus Ex kicks ass."

There are lots of older systems that are nice as well, my favorite among those being the SNES, but there are plenty of other cool games for other old systems, so I won't bother going into detail. To quote myself, "Back before they had amazing graphics, they had these things called plot and gameplay." This holds true to alot of old games, so try not to forget older systems.
