you know Trigun was a bit of a disapointment for me. I usually found Vash's antics more annoying than funny. I liked Wolfwood better in the series than Vash.

hehe speaking of trigun,. i'm watching it again., hehehe., im just really puzzled where the heck did knives and vash came from., there's no realy story about thier background, only the past of them w/ the crew.,

hmn., i really like the opinion, that one of the poster post here, that they came from the 'Plan0, that big thin in the cities

coz one episode where Gun Ho Gunz attack the home of vash, when one plant was cracked because of the attacks, vash went there and somehow talk to the plant, then a creature appears. then the plant suddenly give more energy in its dying state.

anyway, i really like the char. wolfwood. i love the cross gun that he carries. i was amaze when he first used it., i cant belive it was a gun. hehe., great anime,. although i'm a bit disappointed about the ending.,

I believe the plants were something that human either found in space or created themselves (probably form manipulating plant and human DNA).
Vash and Knives were shown as babies in the episode where they talk about their journey to the planet.
It is possible that they were prototypes of a new breed of plant (hence why they are plants yet are able to exist outside those tubes). I believe when the main Seeds ship was destroyed the knowledge of how to create things like plants and possibly more beings like Vash and Knives was lost.

yeah., that could pretty much be the theory of vash and knives existance., lol, had to watch it again to understand thier origin., imo, plants are made by humans themselves, hehe., anyway, after finishing the series today, i still like it., Very Happy yet it still leave a bit of an after taste where you're left wondering what would happen next to vash, anywy gotta read the manga version next hehe

well, actually their planet was destroyed and they were found by rem and the crew.

rem took them in and become sorta like a "mother" to them. (:
well, at least to Vash she was.

I downloaded Trigun few months ago, because everyone said it was so funny and all, but I just didn't like it. I watched a few episodes and got bored. I don't know why, but Vash, who was supposed to be amusing, just annoyed me, and there seemed to be nothing intresting for me. Maybe I didn't watch it enough to see the true greatness of the series or maybe it just wasn't my cup of tea.

really? maybe., i know the first 10 episodes doesn't really give too much details behind the story of vash., i think if watch past that 10 episodes or so, i think you'll enjoy it., i'm not really sure though, its up to you though Smile

well, to be precise, the crew was actually against rem's actions of taking the boys in, but rem did so anyway.

then uhh. rem got killed in an accident caused by knives when he wanted to destroy the rest of the crew for they actually bullied him and vash.

rem was actually the person who got vash onto his "love and peace" streak.

I also disliked the ending. Up to the very last episode the show was great, too bad it ended in such a bland way after all the build up. Can't say the direction it took was wrong, but there was too little time to make a point and do it in a satisfying way. Also that slideshow epilogue with the credits definitely didn't work for me.

YES. I AGREE TO UR STATEMENT THAT IT HAD A GOOD FLOW.
trigun was the thing which made me hooked onto anime. (:

well, i thought the ending was fine actually.
gives the audience space for imagination.
we getta create our own endings and stuff (:

HMMMM.
but i heard tt there's a sub ending or smth.
an extra ending not in the anime..
but i'll need to check first in case this info is wrong.

Hmm...I'm too lazy to create a new topic so I'll ask here:

I've heard Trigun was a cool anime, and I'm a fan of them cool guns. Sooooo, I was wondering if I should download it or not because we all know its kinda old, but popular though! The thing is I don't wanna download something thats so old in every way like the time I downloaded 08th MS team which was RIDICULOUSLY HORRIBLE (I wanna kill myself for dl it...god...) because of it's 70s feeling....man I hate that......So I wanna know if it has great OSTs to challenge even that of FMA, Bleach Naruto and stuff. Also if it has good, no, GREAT ANIMATION (people said them 8 MS teams animation was superb, ohhh they lied......they lied......) at least better than Gungrave. I'm sure it's funny so ye don't have to remind me. So should I download it? Or is it a waste of time?
