Although i live quite a distance from Indonesia, my place can still feel the earthquake. I hope everyone else is ok too.

penang receive yhe eartquke and my mother was called to work at once... then she spoted me at the computer and was fet scoled for waking up so early.

damm!!!! i was reading manga when that happen.
now im still awake cause nasional TV say it is going to be an after shock

Good to see you guys are safe. Have you contact you friends or family who are in the danger zones? If you haven't, i suggest you do it immediately. My sister was in KL and when the ground shook, people got panic and some people got pushed down and got hurt.

well, it is just a small less then a minite earthquke at penang. Not very bad compare to the floods.

I believe the earthquake magnitude is 8.7. The earthquake was so big that it caused another tsunami and at least 300 people died on the Island of Nias

8.7 on the Richter scale... almost but not quite the magnitude of the previous quake...

and it seems like the tsunami didnt happen this time, but still people died coz of the shake...

I wonder if JB felt it...

Did not feel anything in JB but I was not in any high rise building at that time.

However it was the talking point for the day and left a lot of us feeling uneasy due to December's tsunami.
