I don't know if there is already a thread on this but, I'd like to know what people think of this totally off-the-wall manga. Also, does anyone know which chapter is the one that has Yugi coming out of his hair and using Osiris to kill a guy, I've seen it once but haven't been able to find it since.

I've heard of this manga. It's about this black guy who has an afro. All kinds of stuff pops out of his afro. It came from the JUMP mangas. That's basically all I know of it since a read an article about it in shonen jump(American monthly version). I'll put in more info, after I find that issue.

Its fuckin hilarious. BUT you need to be speaking japanese and watch the RAW version, or the jokes just arent as funny.

You can get this manga from the same site that does My Two Wings. THey have the first 14 chapters available for download. The straight Japanese is usually better, but these people do a prety good job of getting the jokes to carry over.

What I'm typing is going to be straight from issue #18 of shonen jump(america):
bobobo-bo bo-bobo by yoshio sawai-a unique, sartirical series that turns even the most serious scenarios into something silly.
The manga is set in the year 300X, a time when everything from tomatoes to teddy bears can walk, talk, and whine. it makes perfect sense, then, that the hero communicates with hair. such a hero is exactly what the world needs to fight the cruel reign of the Maruhage Empire's Tsuru Tsururina the fourth, who is intent on making everyone bald! bo-bobo is one of the few survivors of the country of hair, which was devastated by the tsururina's minions, the hair hunters. Trained in the art of the-no joke-hair fist, bo-bobo uses his hair-oriented attacks to fulfill the dream of his countrymen: full follicle emancipation. A mastar of disguise, bo-bobo can infiltrate even the best-guarded hair hunter facility. with the help of his friends Beauty and heppoko, bo-bobo will defeat the hair hunters, one hair fist at a time, until all hair is as free as his stylin' blond fro. while there are mo typical stories, many involve bo-bobo having some odd adventure that turns an everyday event on its head-and somehow ends in a battle. from christmas parties to school testing, superheroes to giant robots, anything and everything gets blended into a bobobo-bo bo-bobo. currently 12 volumes lon, bobobo-bo bo-bobo is remarkably in japan, and has both a funky video game and an anime TV show. with visual gags punctuating the story every few pages, the action in this series doesn't have to make complete sense, as long as it's funny.

FYI the anime was licensed by cartoon network already.

Yeah, that's pretty much Shounen Jump's explaination word for word. But I want to hear what YOU think of the manga, and what you have read. Not what Shounen Jump thinks of it.

And that show is actually going to be shown on American tv's?!?!?! Good Gawd.

And I'm still looking for that yugioh scene.

yea i kno this manga i find it really stupid is about sme guy who uses nose hair i think it has a horrible plot and i really dnt like the manga i just find it really childish and corny

Its so random. I read the shonen jump magazine in chapters and a jelly guy splurts blood? Nose hairs. It really is stupid now that I said that

I really hate this mang/anime. I'm one of those guys who like watching/reading serious, action, buckets 'o' blood anime/manga. This is all so stupid. Some gay guy with a fro and is a cheerleader running around shooting nosehair at people and hanging out with some stupid sun-type thingy. I even watched it once to see if I liked it. It is horrible! and what's the deal with the people living inside his nose. that makes no sense! I hate this anime/manga! So there. Mad
