Download differences

How come some torrents download easily at 70KB/s while others have trouble just getting started and only go at around 15KB/s?

Less seeds are connected ? Sometimes, if you have a router, you might have problems with BitTorrent if your ports are not open correctly.

i think if you're downloading a lot... it affects the download rate too...
