And about the whole where nosebleed come from thing, someone said it's an Asian thing in general. Except not. Chinese culture does not have that, or at least I've never encountered it.

Haven't been to the forum in some time... This is quite entertaining. Well, from experience, it is possible to get excessive nosebleed. However, from seeing panties or bra woulnd't be how it always is though. I've got a nosebleed problem. somehow the veins or whatever are close to the surface and it's just dangerous to poke anything in my nose, cause i'll get nosebleed all of a sudden out of no where (however, not from being punched... weird =.=").

So, in my case, I've had nose bleed before from seeing certain girls looking very very um... sexy I would say (but not others walking around me having no clothes on for some reason, again this is weird). It happened to me more than few times, and I know it wasn't because I was poked... so the only thing could be bacause of certain girls who just looked cute/beautiful/sexy.
I do think it's totally hilarious to see nosebleed, and yea, making it an Asian thing is totally cool and awesome... I'm an Asian. The nosebleed that I gotten however isn't from anythign perverted that happened... well, maybe through my head

That goes for the original stuff though. Ichigo 100% is an ecchi series but not a hentai series. Ranma shows tits, Ichigo doesn't.

Well there are a lot of doujinshis of ichigo but ofcors, they are only immitations of the real artwork.

How did that get there?

In Japanese folklore, it isn't just the ecchi situations that cause nosebleeds, but it is also caused by eating too much chocolate. Don't ask why, but personally, I just think that it's an old wife's tale to keep kids from eating too much chocolate.

As for the whole nosebleed thing due to ecchi situations, I think that it COULD happen, just not as often. In manga, it happens often because it's funny, but there is only a slight possibility that it could happen for real.

I think the nosebleed is typical for mangas, but a friend of mine has a verx high blood pressure and if he sees something eechi he gets nosebleed!!!...
