Probably buy it....since you'll be spending time restarting some of the missions...coz some are really hard...I myself restarted at mission2....even though I'm a DMC veteran....

But If you didn't like the first DMC...maybe you should rent it first and try it out...

this game rocks, sure they may not be any gore buts it fun. i like some of the cinematics its cool like the opening for mission 1 and 8. just beated the game on HoH, it was so easy, now gunna play normal lol. im so cheap

this was also the first DMC sries that features a "cheat code"....but I suggest finish it first without one to fully get to know the game.

I love every single part of this game especially Dante's violence~ Laughing

However, the only part i dont like about it is the ores and the price of the items! Red ores are so hard to get and those items kept increasing price until a certain limit which is so expensive. I had to waste so much time to replay previous missions to get more red ores.
I guess I'm that horrible in that game until i need so many items to assist me Crying or Very sad

I've had to replay missions so much I'm debating weather or not to pull out my codebreaker (I usually don't pull it out until I have beaten a game, you know just for some fun.)

I finish normal mode a week and hard mode a week and a half
but i like this better than the second one because of the added style.
Favorite is swordmaster and quicksilver style and the sickest weapon is beowulf because it inflicts sick damage to opponents if you know the right moves.

By the way does your finger hurt when playing this game? Mine does

Hurts a lot! They really did make use of EVERY single button on the controller. I had to pause so many times during mobs and bosses for my fingers to relax before continuing XD But that was when i wasnt use to the configs.

DMC3, great game. Currently working my way through Danta Must Die, it's been hard since I refuse to use items besides yellow orbs. Oh well, I'm already up to mission 17 so I might as well finish it.
