I Love Them! "Chop Suey," although the song is not one of their newest, has recently become one of my new obsessions. Also BYOB will always be on my iPod! One of my favorites!

Yeah! I just went to their concert in San Diego. Worth every single penny! They know how to work a crowd! For those that don't know, they are playing all over North America until October. For all you SOAD fans out there, do yourself a favor and go watch them! =)

well, i just started listening to System Of A Down a few days back and i think they seriously kickass (:

my first song was B.Y.O.B and then i found myself downloading all System Of A Down songs which i could lay my hands on.

Ahhh, time to update this somewhat dying thread. The Mesmerize concert is in full swing right now. And just recently, they announced the release date of Hypnotize. =) 12 more SOAD songs coming up for us fans. Release date is November 22nd. Here's the tracklist according to the website:

3.“Kill Rock ‘n Roll”
4.“Hypnotize”
5.“Stealing Society”
6.“Tentative”
7.“U-Fig”
8.“Holy Mountains”
9.“Vicinity of Obscenity”

So far, I've heard Kill Rock n Roll and Holy Mountains. Appearantly Lonely Day is also out there somewhere. I'll try to keep everyone updated as I find more information. Have a nice day everyone! =)

i used to love them, but once their new album mesmerize came out, they started to suck. im sorry, but they lost their edge.

What a great way to start off my trip around the site! System of a Down is my favorite band, has been since pre-toxcicity. Mr. Jack, Needles, Cigaro, the rest. All great.

My favourite albums are in order:

1. Toxicity
2. Steal This Album
3. System of a Down
4. Mesmerize

It's still pretty good, but I am not keen on the back-up guy going to the foreground. He's not bad, but just really different to what I am used to. My favourite song is either Violent Pornography or Old School Hollywood.

I must say that I my dislike of a few songs has given me the courage to delete a few songs from their first album that I found to be subpar.

I used to love their old stuff, the self titled album was amazing, toxicity rocked and steal this album was pretty sweet... but I can't stand Mesmerise, or ANY song on it. They lost their melodic touch from when they started, and now its just incoherent thrashing with waaaay too much of Malkavian singing. Wink

Just my 2 cents.

i dont really like their new album, although some said it is the real masterpiece, id prefer the old album.
