Personally, I feel that the lines between the topics are drawn just a little too narrow and moresoever a bit too rigid, I don't mean to expand to as many topics as gamefaqs or somethingawful...but moving beyond mere otaku interests would certainly help ease the tension/anxiety of using the forums...

also, as for the rigidness, subgenres would be a very nice addition to the forums...(ex divide the VG section into multiple sub sections such as MMO's, Bemani/DDR, Console, PC, etc)
