Pretty Cure Synopsis and Reviews on Anime-Source
Ya.. I dunno if anyone is watching this... I was bored and managed to download a few eps. Its kinda like a really corny sailormoon-lesbian show.

I'm watching it, I'm on the 7th episode - it is nothing unique to the eye at all, the only thing I like is the costumes I guess. I also think the "mascots" or really REALLY annoying (or whatever they're called) I wouldn't say it's a rip off of just sailormoon, I think it's stealing every little thing from each mahou shoujo series...Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailormoon, Ultra Maniac, and perhaps Pretear...
I'm only watching it for the romance-aspect of it, but it's not really developping right now - to be simple, there's nothing new...I'm sure they photocopied ideas from other series, ripped them apart, and glued them together randomly; and here you have pretty cure!
it is quite entertaining though... XD |

I hope you are talking about Pretty Cure instead of Pretty Cure Max Heart, Kaiser ( which is why this thread is moving to Archives instead of Current ).
Ratings for this show then have been good in Japan, beating FMA on many occasions and rivaling Naruto.
From the little I have caught, this is a magical girls action show with cute characters. It has the elements to capture a large portion of the evening crowd, especially since it is a pretty clean anime. The action portions are actually nice. |

I know that there aren't really any subbed versions of Pretty Cure, but all the raws for the Pretty Cure episodes are out. I am tempted to download them myself as John (from animenation) has been hyping this up as to being a great anime series. Got to see what the rave is all about here. _________________ "You guys are assholes, you don't have the guts to be what you want to be." -Scarface

| I've seen up to episode 20 and it's not a bad show. Generally I use as a filler inbetween more serious shows as it keeps the mood light. While it takes a lot of things from past mahou shoujo shows... I can't think of one (I've been trying) that has a team that is made up of two girls who completely rely on each other for a fight (as pretty cure cannot transform or attack on their own). Very good for teaching the kids about the importance of friendship, teamwork and all that good stuff, I guess. |

I finally found a seeded torrent! I am getting it now.
EDIT: Talk about a underrated series! I watched this and thought it was Pretty good, too bad other find it a rip-off. I must be blind because I can't find nothing different than anime in general may have in common with Sailor Moon. |

I love Pretty Cure! It's light hearted and cute I'm up to episode 21 (just 17 left to go!!). Yes, it's typical magical girl anime but that's it's appeal! You can't say it's boring because its all filler episodes, most magical girl anime is filler! If they caught/killed all the bad guys straight away it would be boring!! The manga versions of magical girl stories tend to get straight to the point - take Sailor Moon for example, 10 volumes of manga = 127 anime episodes!!
I should think like any other manga/anime, it is pretty difficult to come up with brand new ideas, which is why it's similar to so many other mahou shoujo stories. (I was unaware though that Pretty Cure was created by the same person who did Mushrambo/Shinzo!!). |

I just noticed this comment and found it rather strange that you could find anything the least bit lesbian in Pretty Cure (I don't think girls holding hands to use their power can been seen as anything but sweet and child like ).
I have just watched episodes 22 & 23 and I'm still loving every minute. In magical girl terms, it's getting serious now |

| Cool! I'm currently downlo9ading episode 10 but it is taking sooooo long seeing how no one is hardly seeding this anime. It's 70% completed and I'm desperately waiting to see this episode. |

Not episode 10
No seriously, for reasons of stupidity, I had to download episode 10 twice. The first time it took 12 1/2 hours, then I accidentally deleted it and the second download took over 10 hours Episode 23 took 1 hour 35 minutes!! (I only have basic broadband, which is why it takes so long!!) |
