the anime is quite fun and interesting bt its nt very good at all.. i like manga more. anyway,it is a nice love story... Twisted Evil

The good thing about the manga version is that they actually married, and that's the best part of the story.

manga was a lot better than the anime, i found the animation to be poor in the anime (or is that just because i downloaded poor quality files?)

i like the manga better 'coz there are a lot more nice scene inside it... wish the anime could provide the same...

I'm sure that I'm not the only person who read the manga and then eagerly watched the anime waiting for those spectacular moments that were so perfect in the manga... but were disappointed and unsatisfied... It isn't that the anime was horrible... but if they would have made it 16+.... there would be more room for the hilarity from the manga... the anime was ok... but the manga was one of the best I've ever read... I'm a sucker for happy endings....

Its an okay anime..Though I'd prefer if the anime actually followed the manga. It's more suited to get them married at the end =p Well other than that I consider the plot oo-kay except for the fact of the uneeded character's such as Tama and the characters that appear once. Twisted Evil

I love it to death. It has a great story and the tale about a lovable loser as he tries to reach his dreams and win the heart of the woman he loves is touching. To bad that it lasted only one season and 25 episodes. I have never read the manga, but I have read about it. I have never seen the series dubbed, just with the English subtitles.

The first 24 episodes were part of one storyline and the 25th was to begin an all new 24 episode arc, but from what I have heard that production company ran out of money. There was still some unresolved questions. I know they were able to make two Movie Specials (one Christmas and the other a Spring one) and that OVA sequel Love Hina Again, but that ended after only 3 episodes.

I wish they at least had at least another episode so that could wrap up the manga in which the 2 main characters finally got together and later married, and it showed us what became of everybody on the show. The Manga had 14 volumes and I hear they only got through about 11 at most, and even left out some colorful elements.

Does anybody know where I can read part of the Manga online (preferably in English)? I would like to see what I missed. And also can anybody else recommend some REALLY good animes in the vein of Tenchi Muyo! and Love Hina?

yeh thats auqite the anime and yeh come on wheres the link for the manga cos from wat ur all sayin is taht its much better than the anime so thats something i am lookin for to see if its tru

I thought the anime was great. It's one of my all time favourites. Then again, I haven't read the manga so you guys might all be right. Still, its a shame for you that the manga spoiled what in my eyes is one of the best and funniest animes to come out over recent years. Oh, and who cares that they don't get married? I thought it was nicer that Naru was still recognisable from the beginning at the end. I mean, her liking Keitaro but not having the courage to admit it was one of the funniest things about the anime. Closure is for losers! Laughing

That said, I was very disappointed with the Love Hina Again OAVs. It's almost as if they just didn't try when they were making those...

It still would have been nice to see them tie the knot, but heck there was several references that Keitaro had showing that they got married (Well in his fantasies!). Was the ring he gave Naru an engagement ring? Anyway why did he for the most part kept calling her by her last name? I know alot of people in Japan go by their last names, but all of Naru's pretty much called her by her non-family name (first name). You think the girl he loved he call her by her first name because it was more inimate I don't know. Anyway great anime.

Your right the OVA didn't turn out as great as I hoped, but at least there was some closure (but not much). Why were they so short?
