i knew a brit would have some taste . Im know most of the stuff except the hip Hop and DJ stuff cause im not into those genres. I certainly like stuff like The Go! Team, Tom Vek, The Shins and RJD2 but i wouldnt rate them as favourites. Where are the rock classics? folk? jazz?
edit: and i dont think The Shins are acoustic singer songwriter
and The Go! Team are probably indie experimental pop more than rock

Didn't want to label some of them too intensely or I'd end up with loads of 1 band lists.
A lot of those artists are actually British : Reuben, death from above, cribs, yourcodename, a few more and all the DJ's (A couple of them are european but its close enough). DJ Yoda is definately worth a look ,his deck skillz are intense and he does some crazy mixes, e.g. A-Team to some of the best scratching you'll ever hear.
I only listed the modern bands, but if you want classics...

Just picked up a new CD by Avenged Sevenfold titled city of evil. OH. MY. GOD these guys kick so much ass. They are now my new favorite band. _________________ Miku Miku!!
