If I were to ever have lunch with a picture on a laptop I'd kill myself.. but then again by then I'd be too far gone to care
Anime, to me, is a hobby. I've just recently started buying my favorite series' on dvd so it has moved past 'just something to do'. When I first got into anime I probably would've considered it a lifestyle because I was so much into it. Recently, I've relaxed a bit and I'm willing to go as far and say that at times I get really bored with it. Luckily by then a new chapter of Gantz has been released (I know it's manga but they're pretty much in the same boat to me) or watch an ep of Maria-sama. I guess it's all in how much you let anime be a part of you.
Oh, and I could care less if I'm called an Otaku but I really wouldn't like it.. |

LOL, its been a while since I've seen one of those inflatable things anywhere, as for the mouse pads and the laptop picture thing...that just kinda scares me.
To me, anime has always been a kind of hobby. I spend money and time on it but its not something that I build my life around. Its one of those things like video games, it can be treated like a hobby, but if someone spends all their time and energy on it, its just unhealthy. |

Anime is also a hobby to me, when the time comes that I run around as Luffy or Ussop screaming "Pirates are coming" then it has become a lifestyle...
I also like the mouse pads, resting your wrist on top of the "hills" is a remedy enough for the tired hands... |

| Hobby. Granted, any hobby can be turned into a lifestyle, depending on how far the person takes it. It's more on a person-to-person basis, rather than topic-to-topic. |

to me, anime means a lot of thing... anime is a hobby... sometimes it can be an obsession... and also a means to escape my reality... also a method a learning japanese (ineffectively..)
that is why some of my friends called me a "japanese-wannabe"... which makes me quite sad... |

anime is a lifestyle, if you are enough of a fan some small anime-based habits may work their way into your life thus making anime a lifestyle, it doesnt have to be a serious lifestyle, just small things. _________________ CAIN is MY whore. touch him and die.

Hmm, I guess I could say its more of a life-style than a hobby. Listening to music is my hobby, anime is my life! Everytime someone says "Oh, that's that cartoon, right?" It makes me soooo mad!! and I definitely have to correct them! It's not just a cartoon! It's for anybody who's interested in a great story with well-developed and cool characters. Some of them could be compared to soap operas, others with sci-fi/action dramas. omg! It just makes me so mad! The same thing with manga! My parents are always like "Stop reading comic books! Read something that will actually help you in life!! OMG!!! _________________ I used to have something really witty to put here. Really. I did. |
