Anime to you

Watching Anime to me is a hobby..... cause I don't watch it everyday....

and sides.. the definition of lifestyle:

"A way of life or style of living that reflects the attitudes and values of a person or group."

and definition of hobby:

"An activity or interest pursued outside one's regular occupation and engaged in primarily for pleasure."

I think watching anime is for pleasure ^____^

Hobby.

I see anime as a story told in animation and voice/sound.

I also learnt some of Japanese from animes, hence anime is also a source of education to me ^^.

I think it depends on what kind of anime fan you are actually. It can only be entertainment, say if you come home from school/work, eat lunch, take a shower, and then, whan nobody has time, to hang out with you, you pop yourself in front of a TV or a computer and watch an episode or two of your favourite anime.
It can be a hobby when you make extra efforts, like collecting anime, buying DVD-s, getting speciall editions, an anime figure, fluffy animal or two that you really like, watch it whenever you find the time...
It can also be a preofessional interest (say if you are an animator, or a pop art lover, well art lover of anykind)
It can also be a big bother, say if you`re a mom of a very anime oriented 5 year old Smile

It can also be a lifestyle. It is a lifestyle to any Otaku (since Otaku are the most serious and dedicated fans, they are usually also the ones, that make me think, thay`ve taken it a bit too far), who live and breathe anime, get anything anime connected, eat lunch Smile

with anime, go to bed with anime and only talk anime, get nightmares waiting for the next episode, and find hentai the highest form of sexual activity....

I agree. It depends on the persons envolvment with anime. It can only be interest, but if you`re not carefull it can become a lifestyle. then you`re screwd :
