yeah, you're right. I already thought about it, but didn't find anyone (but that was before I knew A-S.com) and I gave up the idea. I guess I'm going to try again ^^ Do you know anybody who has some stories? |

I wanna make my own too.
I have the concept and script for the first 3 chapters so far, but I never go to drawing it yet because I think that I don't have enough experiance yet in backgrounds and stuff.

I have the script for the first chapter up on the website and charecter designs for many of my charecters. Tell me what you guys think and how I can improve on it!
I also need to learn how to draw backgrounds and panels PROPERLY and such before I can start. Any suggestions?[/url] |

uhhh... maybe you can draw the chain manga story ppl are currently making up in the free for all section. but i haven't read it all yet so i dunno if it's good lol.

Yeah.....making a succesful OEM (original english manga)...is pretty much a goal of mine.....but I can tell you one thing.....it'll be a loooooot of hard work to break in the industry.......
So till then....all I can do is keep comming up with a few stories and improving my art.... |

In all this seriousness of making a manga; I wanna ask, how long does it take you guys to finish one page of the said manga, with say; about an average of 4-6 panels per page?
I've been drawing for years now; and I just finished a short, 2-paged project last month. It took me over 9 hours to just finish the said two pages. And that does not include adding speech bubbles, text, digital inking and touching up on Photoshop.

Looks like I'm not the only one. I've been trying to get a story right for a long, long time now; and yet everytime I look at what I've written, there're just one too many plotholes here and there, and everywhere else.  |

yeah...sounds like a good idea of having collabration...
for me i do have ideas, but lousy at drawing...maybe one day we can post the ideas, then those interested can draw the manga for us...lol  |
