Translations vs. Scanlations

I've been thinking about this a little bit. I've got some raw volumes of manga you provide on your site. Namely, Death Note.

I don't really want to read scanlations of a manga when I own the hard copies. Have you ever thought about posting straight translations? I'd really like to see them, just for personal use so I can read the manga myself without relying on scanlations to do it.
