I completely agree to the fanboy comment...after seeing some of the costumes, what else would it be?
The music was good for the major songs, and considering they didn't have Nobuo Uematsu...it was good. But they really didn't need THAT many battle themes.
The real-time battle wasn't too great either...it took too long to perform actions and you weren't very strong.
FFX was DEFINITELY better. The plot of FFX2 was confusing at best and definitely not as deep or interesting. |

| I finally got FF X-2 and I have been playing it for about 3 hours, so far i am very happy with it. The graphics are nice and the story is simple and fun (what I was looking for) the custome changs are fun very much like the jobs in FF V exept that now you get to change jobs in the middle of battle. The active battle system is nice its fast and battles dont turn into individual odiseys (so far). Plus the non linear storyline is great, Its more FF that FF X in that aspect, the whole "you go here now" thing was not as fun. Well to wrap it up thanks everyone for your comments. |

| FFX-2 was bad at first... way too Charlie's Angels, but towards the end the whole parts with Tidus, it got good... I liked the ending of FFX-2 better, but i liked FFX game more |

| I didnt like either of them, but yea the ending yall got in FFX-2 was not the real/true ending! The real ending was only in the Import version and there was only like 250 made or something *smiling triumphantly cuz he has a copy =)* |

i cant compare the two together, FFX and FFX-2 were good games in their own right and had both their good points and bad ones but are enjoyable non the less.
FFX deals with the sphere grid that takes tons of hours to complete(including eraseing the +1,+2,+3 nodes into +4 and changing HP+200 to HP+300 and MP+10, MP+20 to MP+40) If you have the patience to fill the sphere grid, all the characters get the same skills and spells, making the overdrives their only character differences including Yuna's summon.
While FFX-2 deals with dress spheres and garmend grid combinations. The different dress spheres make the characters more individual.
Well anyway, I enjoyed em both although they were old games a long time ago. |

i dissagree, ffx-2 is crap, only five chapters is too short and i don't like to do extra mission unrelated to the main story, i like to do the major mission to continue the story(which they lack of it) _________________

| Personally, FFX-2 will never top FFX , but FFX-2 was kind of refreshing in a sense that it was different kind of game to play. Plus the mission based system was kind of interesting. |

In all honesty i think that both games were flying pieces of C P. I actually was so turned off by final fantasy X that i will never touch a new one of there games again. _________________ HCl before H20 makes a big bang |

Final Fantasy X-2 is the most retarded game i ever played...
their are only 3 characters and all of them suck...
The game just plain sucks, its so boring and makes no sense.
They use "MP3 files to transfer into a gunslinger or a hooker or a thief"
omg the story makes no sense, she doesn't even know who her boyfriend is and all they do is run around.
they get followed around by a bunch of retards that really remind me of team rocket from pokemon anime
If you don't like the pokemon show, don't get this game..
People only THINK it's good cuz the other final fantasies on NES, SNES and PSX where good. |

It's so over rated when in fact it has absolutely nothing good to offer.
I borrowed it from a friend and i feel like burning it.. |

| FFX2 is a terrible sequel. The gameplay has changed for the worse, the story is too 'happy-go-lucky', there is barely a hint of melancholy between Tidus and Yuna and your limited to three characters. Sure... they do have dresspheres that change their fighting status but it doensn't quite give the feeling of a genuine final fantasy. The story is not quite serious as the previous one. |
