Well...I enjoyed FFX better than FFX-2 for various reasons, mostly because the story in FFX was much deeper and well-developed. FFX-2 didn't really live up to my expectations. Sure, I did like the dress spheres and the garment grids, which were cool because you could make your character unique(You didn't have to stick with one job class, like in FFX). Plus, they were a little easier than the Sphere Grids in FFX, which took me alittle while to get used to, but I still liked 'em. Also, the graphics in FFX-2 were wonderful(I've always noticed there were 3 types of grahics in the game - crappy - where Yuna's and the gangs eyes looks small and flat, great - where everything is 3D and cool, and goddamn awesome - where eveything could be mistaken for the real thing)
Unfortunately, FFX-2's story is....not so good. I do like that you are more free than you are in FFX, but it doesn't make up for the lack of story.
And, like someone before me said, Leblanc's gang really reminds me of Team Rocket. A lot. -_- And Brother(Wtf kinda name is that, anyway?) will get on your nerves from the first time you see him.

Anyway - if you want a light-hearted game that doesn't have much depth(but has a hell of a lot of fanservice), then I suggest you at least borrow this from a friend. But...last time I saw it in a store it was only $20...so I would just buy it.

FFX-2 was ok, sucked imo. You play as 3 girls (which sometimes it gets really annoying cuz they're like omg like i wanna sing n stuff!!1! like im da s*hit), i mean if yuna, riku, and pain or payne w/e could be a little less omg love = power, or something like that then i wouldn't mind playing as girls.

i don't really like the time feature since i was used to the FFX one.

the transforming thing (forgot wat its called) so it could subsitute aeons it kind of of a let down since i like to see the different kind of summonings and powers the summonings have.

And when the story at first may seem really good (with tidus n stuff) it pretty bad and stupid later on.

but w/e you should play it anyways to make sure and it does have multiple endings, rent it.

i like FFX better because FFX-2 was for me, really short and boring after you beat the game once... FFX though, has a really great storyline and cinematics.. even though i admit sometimes i didnt get the sphere grid level up system.. and of course there are always the aeons.. IMO, really cool giant monsters that can be used to take out monsters in one hit.. especially Yojimbo...

FFX-2 sucks...especially without a perfect storyline and only 3 characters to play from. Just dress changing and ntg much..I like FFX way better than FFX-2.

I like FFX better. I don't like the missions based in FFX-2 and the dress changing. Ugghhhhhh......... Evil or Very Mad and I can't get the 100% completion! But I like the opening scene in the FFX-2 ! COOL..............

imo, ff 10-2 has a better battle system, although the lack of summons is a bit dissappointing.
having to switch chars in and out in ff 10 to make sure everyone gets the exp. is really annoying.

but for everything else, ff 10 is better, making it a better game overall.
